Speaking as a game design student here, I think a good way to implement a replenishable source of stone would be to have volcanic vents on the sea floor emitting magma that solidifies into refineable chunks. It makes logical sense and is a good endgame resource as it would be a bit more challenging to collect. Hire me axolot? lol

the stone nodes do actually regenerate, it just takes a while. one that i mined in front of my base regenerated after like 5-10 in-game days Edit: Trees don't Regenerate

Pretty sure you have to get ALL the stone in the node, but sometimes, stone gets stuck underneath the ground. You have to use your lift to get it off, then it will regenerate.

Try to make a all terrain vehicle or a vehicle that can survive in it's own in Survival mode. Make a bedroom with a wardrobe where the dressbot goes in, a kitchen for the cookbot with a dining area.

Something i learned from minecraft is more detail, the more appealing it is to the eye. You should add little details of wood to the stone for contrast and detail. Little windows wherever there might be space. Awnings, railings, and balconies. Your build looks great. I wish i had that much time to invest in games anymore.

day 1 of asking scrapman to do a group survival survival series with the others in scrap Mechanic

1. Multiplayer is kinda buggy at the moment. Maybe when they fix it or make it more stable to play in a group of people for several hours. 2. In order for them to make a group survival they have to be online at the same time, which can be difficult sometimes because of timezones. And people have different schedules so it would be hard for them to sincronize to play *at the same time **_for an entire series!_* *But the idea is very cool!*

The Scrapmanian Kingdom sure is a convenient place. You got the "farmers" right inside the public square within hearing range of the monarch, also near the dock, blacksmith, and mason shop. Crenellations are what the alternating rectangular spaces vs bricks at the top of those walls are called. As for the rooms, castles need a treasury and an armory, but I get that this isn't a medieval castle so whatever. Lastly, can you build a temporary floor for Hank to use to get to the shore? Don't know if you can build like that in the water as I've never played this game.

A few suggestions: 1. paint banners with the scrapman royal insignia (either just the logo or some new design based on the logo) onto the towers on either side of the speech platform. 1b. while it might take some trial and error or some experimentation, maybe put a distorted version of said symbol on the underside of the speech platform, such that it looks correct from a distance (think how signage painted onto the road surface is distorted so that it looks correct from the angle of a person driving a car.) 2. master bedroom should be the top-most room. you already have a secure place to store your prisoners, meaning that the don-jon (the tallest room in the keep) is all yours to use as a bedroom (complete with all the views that come from it being the tallest part of the castle). 3. put a floor at the top of the lower archway that goes between the towers, and connect the towers into a single room from that level up. that way, you could have the throne room be at the same level as the speech platform, and you would gain back almost two full walls worth of brick (by combining the two towers at that elevation into a single room) 4. one of the two tower rooms should be the most magnificent and grandiose spiral staircase possible, while the other one could be an armory or a kitchen or other practical room. 5. the banquet hall should be on the ground floor, for maximized public access (without it being on the outside of the castle walls, of course)

Bedroom / relaxation room with some cosmetic flare and a treasure room with weapons. Mix it up maybe, combine modern room concepts, since you're doing a separate throne room. You could also gradually fuse the outer towers in to one tower that becomes the throne room. Like a giant thicc bell tower on a 45° roof. And put glass panes out the sides to save material.

Scrapman. I think you put some stacks of brick in the warehouse ramps chest or any of the excess chests that is beside your cookbot. And, the left tower (from the front of the castle) can be a living room. And the right tower can be a multiroom. A room that can be any room in 1 space. Anything that's in Scrapman's head will go to the right room. And of course, the main tower is gonna be the throne room

What you might need to do in that case is to separate it into parts. The physics engine goes a little nuts and there is frame drop when you make something above a certain size. On a big construction like this even Scrapman has one block gaps dividing it up.

Castles actually have walls much thicker than one block. You could achieve the right look by building a second wall within and leaving an air gap in between. This would also make for a great place for hidden passages and doors.

In one of the towers, you could make a trophy/treasure room. Also, for the throne room, you could make a secret escape hatch of some sort. Like for example, you could have your seat rotate 90 degrees (or whatever angle you need) and have a portion of the back wall fold outwards. And that way, when you leave your seat, you will (possibly, as I am not sure how Scrap Mechanic physics work) eject through the opening and escape away.

You could reduce your material needs by slowly making your towers thinner. Medieval castles had to do this to support the upper floors with thicker lower floors.

Put carpet in the floors of the rooms, save some brick. I still say one room should be a bedroom with a dressbot and the other should be dining with a cookbot. Need to cut some windows into your rooms as well.

I think Scrapman should top the building with an arch. Which would be a lot more efficient with how many blocks are used and you can still build a tower on top of it. Also I think you (Scrapman) should have an elevator in the back so you can go any were you need.

If you want to flex your wealth, you could paint all of the brick white/white wash your castle, it's something that did happen when castles were around and someone was just that wealthy.

Make it like an actual castle. Walls are stone, because they support their own weight. Floors are wood, so they don't bow in the middle from their own weight, and it's cheaper and easier. If you have wood shortage, use whatever you have in most abundance, because this is very similar to how actual castles were built when resources were in short supply.

I helped my floppy wheels on my miner by using 2 steering bearings on each turning wheel and welding them together with pipe pieces. Helped a ton with the floppyness. Also I’m pretty sure it’s just called a royal balcony like at buckingham
