When printing on wood with that method, you have to set your printer to it's "Best Photo" setting. That way it puts out a good amount of ink. I've done this several times. Really good little projects, Ive been doing " DIY stuff" all my life, just retired and been looking at woodworking videos..and amazed at the sheer size and complexity of workshops. This is my kind of shop, simple everyday tools even if we do wander into metric ( latin to me) imperial still gets a look in. Kind of get the antipodean measurements but am guessing a bees ear must be smaller than a widgets tit but larger than a gnats ck... THANK YOU... will look at your other projects which am sure I will enjoy just as much as this one..

You carry yourself like a professional. I could see you going big on Discovery channel or something like that. However this is only the first video I’ve seen of yours, but I expect cool stuff. I like that it seems you make content that helps the average bloke with a budget & basic tools. I like wood working & rehabbing old things to make new things, then maybe sell the items & make some extra cash. PS. I saw a pro with A LOT of experience build a chess bored on YT. It was beautiful but required extensive knowledge & tools. Do you think you could show us how to build a chess board & pieces outta scraps. We have a lot of leftovers pieces of building material always out on the curbs. I’ve already made at least $1000+ in extra cash for fixing something that was otherwise tossed out with not much wrong with them. P.S.S You use both measurements & was it $5 to make it? Cheers!

Also at the beginning of the video you said that you were going to make 4 or 5 projects out of 1 plank of wood when you actually only made 2 out of 2 pieces of wood, but that's my only complaint, that I didn't get to see more. Love your accountancy skills! Of course the wood had a value, it cost you once and still carries that part of the cost plus your students (us) may not have the correct scrap so will have too buy so please please do it right for us!? Nice one Bob England

I just subscribed .So glad to see a video made with the measurements given .Too often all you get is a fast forward video with someone else's choice of music. I do not have the time to keep stopping a video to see what is the steps needed. Thanks again.

Pro tip. If you have clamps, and clamp your workpiece to a sacrificial piece of wood; not blowout with drilling. You can also use tape where you will drill, and mark out on the tap. Drill through said tape( painters tape), and boom.. Shouldn’t have the splintering from entry.

Oh and one more thing.....the pallets you use (or at least in the pallet deconstruction video, and the plank in this one) look way better then most of the other pallets I've seen or collected myself. I did get a couple really nice ones from behind my local grocery store, they had thicker planks like yours do. I heard someone say it was a euro pallet! So are the ones you used Euro pallets?
@diyforknuckleheads5 жыл бұрын
Charley, the best place to find heavy duty pallets is from a business that handles heavy duty products like a brick and tile shop or a machinery outlet that sells heavy equipment like lawnmowers etc. Hope that helps 😁

This woodworking book is really detailed, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* ! With the aid of this plan, I was able to use words, drawings, real images and different diagrams. It is really an informative product. I am presently making furniture together with my brother and thanks to this product, I feel like helping him is possible.?
