after I cut the crown off, if the copper wire looks dry, I stand it up cut end facing you and spray WD-40 and leave it sit for 30 minutes then start pulling the wire out it seems to help, a lot easier to pull the wire ...

Bout how much copper do you usually get out of a motor like that?

A good rule of thumb is 20% of the weight of the motor is copper. If it have copper windings :-) Thanks for stopping by the channel, how you enjoyed the video.

Just subscribed to see more of that stuff...but felt sort of let down about the fact that you didn't share the weight of the copper you got out of it. I just found 3 of those big suckers this afternoon in a dumpster that i have to contend with here shortly...I like to watch "BigStackeD" because he weighs everything...anyhow, good video...

You got the tools to do it with you put that motor in that table Vice tighten her down and take them channel locks and pull it right on Outlet
