I had that IBM server I found that was in a shed for years and looked like your case here, just rusted good with spider webs and some snake skin, mouse nest too but luckily they had vacated the area.

The CMOS battery. I'm sure there is somewhere BUT - because they are treated as hazmat most of the yards have to sell them to a hazmat collector to be processed. The cadmium in the batteries is bad stuff.

I thought you always took the cpu off the motherboard as well has that changed or am I just wrong?

Yup, always remove the CPU unless it is hardmounted.

To be honest, I've forgotten where these came from. I suspect one of the yards I buy from. They were not in that big load of PC's I picked up. Those were all from a county school system and none in this bad a condition. But I did find a lot of Lollypop sticks and gum wrappers shoved in the CD drives from the school PC's 🤣
