Hello from northern Sweden again,, scrapping still good here and I got a "new client" that does ac/heater units so a steady supply of those. I also do pickups at a whitegoods supply and repair shop so those motors I get regurlary but I never thought about the yellow lines. Thank you for the tip and I will use it.

if they have copper, it will be about 3 pounds. so good money for a few minutes of work

@@Okiescrapper so it is. I dont even cut up sealed units as many of them are aluminium today so I drill a hole and drain oil for electric motor,, todays currancy about $ 0,25/lbs

I like mine; I like it a lot, I got it off the top of a scrap pile, no wheels on it. went to tractor supply and they had two solid tires on an endcap, so I got them, no flats for me. Thanks for watching

Hey Okie great vid, I wanted to ask what CFM do you need for the air compressor for your air chisel? Looking into it the compressor is more expensive than the tool.

when looking at a compressor it will tell or show you what it can run, but I used to use a small compressor with a 1-gallon tank, but I spent a lot of time waiting for it to build up pressure. chisel a little wait and chisel some more, I have a husky 27 gallon the cost is about $500 it is 5.1 CFM @ 90 lbs. but a smaller one would work just fine. this one will get the job done it will run the chisel www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-8G-150-PSI-Hotdog-Air-Compressor-0300816/302862402#overlay I don't think I would want to go any smaller

I have a bunch that I pull from dryers, I was going to advertise them this year but didn't. so I plan to try to sell them next year for fire pits and raised beds for the gardeners

@@Okiescrapper not hard to take a picture and put it on Craigslist The steel prices are so high a self employed welder can't make anything .unless we find steel on Craigslist . I look twice sometimes 3 times a day for steel.

I just scrapped a washer and the motor had green lines on the side . It was copper. But I really don't believe the manufacturer was labeling the motors for that purpose.

I could but it would use more electric. and I don't have to drag it out and hook it up, and washing machine's I don't break all the way down, if I did then I would have to dispose of the plastic drum inside
