Beginner here!!!! I have been watching KZbin after KZbin video to learn how to make a quilt and your videos are amazing.... You make it look so easy and quick. So I try and it is harder than I thought.. I have learned from KZbin how to do everything from crocheting to wood carving to fixing my car to building a she shed.. all I have picked up fast.. for some reason, I'm having trouble and I really want to take all my sons baseball shirts and make a really cool quilt for his bed.. and I don't want a boring quilt.. go big or go home right, well, I'm already home. Sooo.... 🤔 I'm impatient as you can see. Anyways- thanks for starting this KZbin channel, I'm super excited to learn all I can from you...... ❤

I'm hoping we become great friends and I can learn to make some great quilts among other many items with them. I'm looking forward to finding great ideas from your videos. Thanks!! So I started cutting blocks last and I have a lot of left overs and not a lot of blocks. I didn't have a jelly roll. I cut my strips from fat quarters. So before I cut any more, I thought I'd ask if it would be terrible if I sewed two strips together at the ends. This is my first quilt (by myself), so I'm not quite sure how to proceed. Thoughts?
@SmittenKitten.7 жыл бұрын
I know you asked this a month ago, but I thought I'd comment anyway! You can totally sew strips together! Whenever I need to make longer strips, I sew them together, but on the diagonal. You don't need to do it that way, it's a habit from combining strips for binding.
