You asked how Dewey survived, well if you listen closely to the EMT, he says, "it hit some old scar tissue." So supposedly he got stabbed in the same spot as the first time and the scar tissue protected him from worse damage lol. Plus Gale had some character growth, instead of reporting the news at the end she got in the ambulance with Dewey bc she finally realized what was important. Yay! And Sidney is a goddess. One true scream queen.

Some fun facts for you. 1. During CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar) scene there's quite a few things happening. She was talking to Selma Blair on the phone before she talked to ghostface and in between. They co-stared in "Cruel Intentions" together and when they were talking on the phone they were talking about Bailey on "Party of Five" which was the tv series that Neve Campbell (Sidney) was doing during all of the three Screams. Also, Jennifer Love Hewitt was also in "Party of Five" as Baileys girlfriend thats who they were talking about regarding to a break up. Which she also co-star in "I know what you did last summer"with SMG. She also turned on a vampire movie as a reference to her Buffy. Sarah Michelle Gellar was very busy in 97 she was doing this, I know what you did last summer and 2nd season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. - Neve was also really busy in the late 90's. Same year Scream 96 came out her and Skeet Ulrich (Billy) did "The Craft" together, she was doing her tv series "Party of Five" and also filmed "Wild Things" with Kevin Bacon and Matt Dillon in 97 the same year Scream 2 came out. Courtney Cox was doing "Friends" the whole time she was doing "Scream, Scream 2 and 3. 2. When Randy mentioned about Gales nude pictures and how her head was on Jennifer Aniston body it was a funny towards "Friends". Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston were co-stars on it. David Schwimmer was also a funny for playing Dewey in Stab especially since he plays Ross as Monica's (Courtney Cox) brother aswell on "Friends". 3. Billy's mother Ms. Loomis is Laurie Metcalf she played on "Roseanne" as Jackie. 4. Originally it was supposed to be Ms. Loomis hiring Derek and Hallie as the killers and Mickey as the supportive friend but it got leaked so they changed it to Ms. Loomis and Mickey as the killers.

I've had this theory for as long as I can remember regarding to the car scene. I believe Mickey was knocked out originally but when Sid hit the horn I think it woke him up but pretended to still be knocked out. So that way the girls mostly Sidney were out of the car since he wasn't allowed to actually kill her and for her to be lure to the theater building for Ms. Loomis. Because he got out WAY to quickly after they did and then did like a syke trick making them think they are safe just to turn around and Kill Hallie to mess with Sid mentally and emotionally even more.

Scream 2 is my favorite even though I’m well aware that Scream is the superior made film. Love this film so much!! And I love your love/hate relationship with Gale. Or maybe that’s just my feelings and you actually still hate her. Lol I think she has the best development after Sidney. Just look at the final scenes in both movies. One of the 1st drafts had Cotton and Sidney kill the killer but their hate for each other overcame them and they kill each other. Also in another og draft, Hallie and Derek were the killers working for Ms Loomis and Mickey gave his necklace to Hallie and he got drunk and tied to a tree and was killed as Sidney tried to untie him

Oh and Matthew Lillard (Stu) He had an uncredited cameo appearance as "Guy at Party" at the frat party in Scream 2.. Him and Neve started dating while filming Scream and were together for little over 2 years. He would come visit on set all the time so they made him a extra lol. You can barely see him it's a little blurred you just see a blond hair cause that what he had lol and can hear him talking to someone in the background. If you look it up on Google there are pics that points him out.

iirc, gale was intended to be the original killer, however the scripts went thru alot of rewrites after the endings kept being leaked. so in the end we got the duo we got in this movie, but I find it really funny your guesses would have been on point if not for the rewrites of the ending.
