Good causes do need allies. Because bad causes go off with ease.

We need allies in society because society is not an equal playing field. While I agree that yes, we can and should all work to become the best versions of ourselves, that’s not the only part of the problem. Another much bigger part of the problem is the perpetuation of systemic inequalities. We need allies to help address these issues.
