Finally someone who uses fusion and delta keyer correctly :D Hard to find tutorials where you set perspective right with planar tracker and delta keyer. Most tutorials only show how to replace the screen but lack the possible correct perspective if the phone is tiltet or moving to much... thanks! Helped a lot

Finally I found a video where author doesn't show how to draw perfect display-like figure instead of using key... Thank you!

Amazing! Just what I was looking for. However, my problem is that the screen I'm replacing isn't green but grey (with flat white-grey background). Then how can I do it with key. Or there is another method I can use? And also, is there any way to add a video instead on images with the transform tool (animation is already done) Thanks a lot! :)

Thanks! You can try the chroma or Luma keyer to get the reflections. That's usually what I use for non blue or green.

I often end up with green color cast back on the skin of the hand and fingers. I dont always get the best result trying to correct/hue vs saturation adjust for that green cast in the color grade process. Do you have tips or an approach for this? Opinon on if a grey screen is better than green? Your footage seems to have no cast of the green on the hand which may be just an awesome gaffer that lit it perfectly haha.

Haha yeah there was hardly any color spill in that shot. My first choice is usually a matte control and if that doesn't work color corrector or hue curves, both have a suppression. Most of the time those 3 nodes can do the job. As far as production, knowing ahead of time what is going in the screen would help. I was on set recently and we knew the insert was going to be white so we set the screens to white. I would think grey could be a good choice depending on the situation. Each shot is different from my experience, not really a one size fits all.

You're such a smart editor, how much time did it take you to achieve this level? I just started with video editing and I will try to stay consistent to achieve such levels

Quick question on your render at the end - Do you prefer to use the fusion disk cache, or a saver node? I noticed you did this instead of render in place on the edit page. What is your preference?
@prophetless
@prophetless Жыл бұрын
I use the render cache while working on an effect so I can get realtime playback. When I'm done, I would render it either in place or with a saver.

how do you create an animated reflection on the phone screen? ty
@prophetless

In this video we kept the real reflection from the camera. If you wanted to replace it with your own, one way is with a reflection map.

The tracker points on my screen are visible. How do I get rid of it, if I have to color pick just green
@prophetless
@prophetless 3 ай бұрын
I have had a lot of people ask about this recently. I'll probably make my next video about it but in short you could use a second key just for the markers.
@onyinyechi5349
@onyinyechi5349 3 ай бұрын
@@prophetless thank you. I look forward to your next upload. I tried adding a second key but it almost messed up my project. I ended up creating a plain background to cover up the markers.
