Jim Broadbent’s casting as Frank is quite clever in itself, he was known for playing the bent copper Roy Slater in Only fools and horses, it’s a tip off to there being a darker side to his character

The best joke in the movie is even the kids run in the shop and then the lady immediately reacts like she got shot. As if more than one kid in the shop is her weakness 😂

The reason why this film is so amazing and stands out as the best of the trilogy is that there's always something new to spot and pick up on every time you watch it.

literally yesterday I picked up on a new joke and I've seen the movie about a dozen times; at the church fete Skinner is running Splat The Rat which we hear at the same time Tim Messenger is telling Leslie the value of her land. Very soon after the 'rat' gets splatted

Not necessarily. The distinction between the sister and brother could mean Aunty Jackie isn't related to the brother, only a stepbrother perhaps. Maybe Aunty Jackie's father and his mother married and had the sister.
