That's what I'm thinking as well. Remember that when 838's Wanda was trapped in a mind prison (where Xavier tried to pull out), a TV played WandaVision next to the bomb pit. Makes sense that 838 Wanda have seen 616's memory as well.

She's had a tragic story through the entire MCU. Parents die during war, gets experimented on by Hydra (altho she volunteered for that), gets manipulated by a robot that wanted to kill humanity and then loses her twin brother. Then in Civil War she accidentally killed innocent people and wound up being hunted by the government. Then she lost Vision in IW and got dusted and then the whole Wandavision story arc. Beyond tragic. No wonder she snapped.

Totally agree. Her saying stuff like “I was born to rule” and “it’s my throne” and stuff are so out of character for Wanda. If they wanted to say she’s acting this way because of the darkhold then they could have done a whooole lot more to show that the book has corrupted her thinking after Wandavision. Beyond reclaiming her kids, her motivations to turn towards villainy appeared to be that of an amoral sense of agency partially caused from spite due to what she deems as Strange’s hypocrisy in getting to give Thanos the time stone, mess with reality, and still be called a hero. Given her backstory and previous alliances with Hydra and Ultron, that seemed like a logical motivation to re-villainize Wanda, but not one that suggests that she was being corrupted by an outside malevolent force, so her saying such out of character things and taking such extreme measures against the Illuminati (after already expressing guilt for her actions in Westview) seemed underdeveloped and unearned.

The postcredit scene at the end of WandaVision takes on a whole new meaning after watching Multiverse of Madness. It appeared that Wanda was able to use Astral Projection while awake during that scene, but in reality it was the hint that one was real (the Scarlet Witch reading the Darkhold), the other was a projection she made (the Wanda making tea) to cover up what she was really doing.

I mean who's to say she didn't whack people with energy blasts from across the planet and make them believe she was actually there? I think it's more likely that when we saw that flash of light at the end that she bamfed to Chthon's world, she was actually there the whole time, etc, just an interesting possibility.

I think there’s a parallel between Wanda’s ending here and Strange Supreme from What if..? when he destroyed his own universe… They both fight for what they love and go to absolute extreme measures to get it…only to have it turn out that the people they want see them as monsters and are scared of them, which ends up changing both of their motives, causing them the realize the pain they’ve caused. Maybe Wanda trapped herself in her own version of a “pocket universe” like Strange Supreme was trapped in after he destroyed his universe. Wanda’s return in the MCU could come by someone needing her help and “freeing” her, similar to how The Watcher broke his oath because he needed Strange Supreme to save the Multiverse.

This is the question I have. Agatha said she would correct Wanda’s spell-now, a spell cannot be corrected after it’s cast as also explained by Agatha, but Wanda has spent over a year studying and has clearly mastered plenty of magic. If she could do it once and just failed to properly do the spell, why not again?

Also, Agatha says the Scarlet Witch is a being capable of spontaneous creation which means she can technically create things (she created hex vision out of nothing but her own power and created the kids as well). Considering how many questions we have about "New Vision," Marvel would really be leaving us hanging if they didn't bring Wanda back to resolve that story. Did "Hex Vision" give "White Vision" his full memories? Does White Vision also have Hex Vision's memories of being in Westview? Is he capable of emotion without the mind stone? If not, does Wanda still have that "part of the mind stone that lives inside of her," which Hex Vision was made from, via which she could somehow restore White Vision's "soul?" These questions require answers. I'm not one to care much for relationship drama in the MCU, but I think it would be fitting if Vision's quest for self-rediscovery leads him back to Wanda, and he's the one that brings her back somehow. It would do a lot to resolve their story arc.

In the MCU it seems that nothing is secret so I'd think everybody in the world will know that Wanda was behind the giant monster attack in New York. Not to mention everything that happened in Wandavision. She also killed a lot of sorcerors. It's going to be a monumental task to redeem her character in the eyes of the people. The only real way out for her is some big public sacrifice. Failing that she's going to have to spend her time living in the shadows assuming she's even still alive.

But since civil war, she's been having an extension in her contract for the next MCU project. Usually wen I see marvel films twice it's because I loved them. I absolutely loved this movie. I loved Sam Ramis approach. I felt like he put a little spiderman and evil dead in it. Not to mention how well the mother theme ties into mother's day.

I like Wanda erasing her memory of her having powers, but I also think she'll set herself up with a life similar to her hex life as well before. Perhaps she'll move back into her old town where everyone will know who she is and leave her alone, setting up Agatha's show. The two becoming best friends as neighbors who don't remember their pasts and are feared by everyone in town who were under the hex and witnessed their final show down. Sword kind surveilling both situations. This leaves White Vision time to have his own character ark throughout a few franchises. Perhaps Ultron will be the big bad of Black Panther and he's the one pulling strings that bring Atlantis and Wakanda into conflict, before ultimately being defeated and having Suri place Vision back into his body. He returns to Westview to find a Wanda that doesn't have any memory of him. He then turns to Agatha for help which leads to all kinds of mischief in her show. I think between the two of us, this is figured out.

I think if they wanted to they could absolutely make a cool story where Franklin Richards tries to hunt down Wanda for killing his dad in DSMOM. Reed tells Wanda that he has children too so that basically confirms that some version of Franklin Richards exists in the multiverse, and if anyone is powerful enough to put up a fight against Wanda, it’s Franklin.

Suri has Vision in Wakanda. What we saw leave Westview was Ultron with the memories that Wanda gave him, not with Vision's memories. Vision in showing him his past, reminded him that Vision was the one that destroyed him. He's probably gone to Wakanda to kill what's left of Vision. Perhaps he killed T'Challa in the process of his first attempt and was expelled. He then turns to manipulating Atlantis into assisting him only to be defeated and removed from Vision's body and replaced with what Suri took from Vision, completing his return to being Vision, but completely missing out on the events of MOM.

I think having Wanda out of the movies for a while, soul searching, and then we finally see her again as the bride of (then established in F4) Doctor Doom. Would be a huge reveal in bringing her back, without memories, to work toward the redemption through Childrens Crusade arc. Should could also fill the role of Molecule Man in Secret Wars, making it her that helps recreate the multiverse, redeeming her.

I think Wanda had redemption in Wandavision. Wanda went thru her hell in that series and that at the end of Wandavision, the scarlet witch was discovered. This movie seemed more of the continuation of scarlet witches growth story and hence her redemption. Now with her overcoming the dark hold as the scarlet witch…she’s gonna be a badass.

So Wanda is normally a Nexus being meaning she's the same in each universe. What if the darkhold was only showing her other versions of herself that were living in the hex with the kids she created. Maybe that's why other Wanda could sympathize with her and "forgive" her in that scene.

It’s not Wanda that is the same across the Multiverse but rather, the Scarlet Witch- the Scarlet Witch is present in all of the Multiverse in the sense that it is the weilder of chaos magic, but not necessarily Wanda herself. Like the Phoenix force is a force that can build and create life in all of the Multiverse. The Phoenix can be on any host.

I feel that they sped through her villain transformation like WandaVision happened then Boom! Getting her wicked witch on, I feel like they dropped the whole Agatha is in Westview and the quote "If I need you I know where to find you." The Villain Scarlett Witch story in my opinion should've been a slow burner where it was her slowly losing her code, and then the idea of the multiverse is lingering around and she is now a woman with nothing to lose, she has lost her home, Vis, Tommy, Billy, and now she is dangerously close to just letting it all go, then she creates the whole Multiversal war by jumping between dimensions and inspiring a variant of Kang to do the same, Allah Incursions.

If Wanda could mind-meld with all other Wandas and experience her sons at second hand, that would be such an elegant solution that I don’t think it will happen. The Children’s Crusade to Doom to Secret Wars sequence is appealing. It’s rarely commented upon that Doom has magical skills. The way the MCU.rolls Doom will probably show up in the background before cuddling up to Wanda. I predict that Doom shows up before the Fantastic Four. (Okay, we got a Reed Richards for a few seconds, but not the FF.) I’m sure the MCU will make it fun, one way or another.

Doom is into the myatic arts himself and will likely try to take advantage of her power for his own ends by manipulating her. I think that we won’t get mutants in MCU 616 until after Secret Wars. I think there has already been a “no more mutants” moment, and they’re going to defeat Kang the Conqueror and remake the sacred timeline “properly” with mutants, Fantastic 4, Avengers, Inhumans, etc all together in one universe

As some one who has worked in behavioral health for over 7 years overcoming loss, grief, and trauma is not an easy thing. You will make a lot of mistakes along the way to recovery. To me as a woman who has experience in mental health and working in mental health. Wanda's story seems possible. Working with many recovery addicts and individuals suffering from psychiatric disorders you find a lot of shame. They know what they must do, the "right" thing to do, but sometimes it's difficult to will yourself to do things. It's sometimes easier to run or avoid. I think Wanda knew what she'd have to face following those events and she probably did not want to face them. Don't forget. she ran following the events of Wandavision. She's not like Black Widow who has the mental fortitude to stay and take accountability for her actions. Not saying thats an excuse. But there are all shades of women and to ME the ending of Dr Strange 2 with Wanda makes sense. People like to dismiss the seriousness of trauma and PTSD. Wonder why most of our homeless population are men and veterans. The projection of mental health in media needs a revamp. A lot of people are wrongly educated or lack insight into the reality of it.

I have been forced to learn a good deal about mental illness over the past ten years or so, e.g. "trauma-informed parenting," and your take on Wanda's story here makes a lot of sense. Kudos to the MCU for creating such interesting contrasts with various female characters... Wanda and Black Widow, as you pointed out, plus Gamora & Nebula immediately come to mind... each a unique study in how different persons might cope with profoundly traumatic pasts. Glad there's no "standard female character stencil" in play here (I see that much too often elsewhere in fiction-I'm a book editor).

i had an interesting thought about the darkhold. what if the darkhold was a prison to “hold” a “dark” being like mephisto or even cython? wanda apparently destroyed the darkhold and maybe releasing whoever is in the darkhold? possibly taking wanda quickly away from the castle temple before it’s destruction. also with wanda gone will agatha be free from wanda’s spell? also one more thing i think it would have been wonderful to see a vision alternate in the other universe being a member of the illuminati having to fight wanda

Outside of the box prediction: Wanda lays low with her father figure's family (the Bartons) in their farm. She feels loved by a family and feels like a member of their family. Clint and Laura like having her around because she fills that gap that the death of Black Widow created. While resting at Clint's farm, she meets Kate Bishop. Wanda feels the need to mentor Kate (and the rest of the Young Avengers). She becomes the leader of the Young Avengers in the same way Charles was the leader of the X-Men

Clint is all about redemption. After all, he was nothing but a weapon. That thought process changed once he became a father. He will see the same potential of character development within Wanda. I always thought it was telling that the two parents within Civil War (Clint and Scott) chose to be on Steve's side. They chose the side of Freedom instead of Security. Clint sees Wanda as a daughter figure. Of course he is going to forgive her.

When Agatha finds Wanda, it's Queso Blanco a.k.a. White Vision to the rescue. BONUS ROUND: Agatha is still able to unleash Chthon, who goes on to start a War of the Gods featuring Bast, Konshu, Thor, and - Loki. Or, maybe I just really miss American Gods too much.

You know, Im still thinking about Wanda, how she was shown In WandaVision. Every time she saw that she’s hurting people, she was making things up. I know the Darkhold is very bad and has a bad impact on her. But still, does it had to be shown this way? For me that was to hard. I thing a lot of people could see her now In very badass way. What do You thing? Is it really In comics like this? I would like that she would have a chance for redemption and stay in MCU for longer (and be happy ;))

Doctor Strange having a music battle with himself was awesome. He literally attacked himself with Beethoven and Bach. Also, the Bach and Beethoven pieces they used could be a Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 reference. More Disney movies. Which were the opening pieces for both movies.
