As classic as that is, I can understand Zack's play on things. Bruce and Lois having a small thing is possible due to the circumstances surrounding the both of them. Unexpected passion being found amid tragedy which puts them both in a bad spot down the road, especially with Clark being resurrected. Lois dying setting forth key events is just like in Injustice. Superman turns evil and the world goes to shit because the one man who was the embodiment of Hope has lost that one thing he represented. Hope turns to despair and backed by an all powerful Darkseid, the world everyone once knew is gone.

The storyboard was the original trilogy Zack had planned. WB made him change that part of the story and no doubt others. That might have been okay, depending on how it was executed. I feel like they should have replaced the anti life equation taking over superman with something else. Its too abstract for a live action movie. Say what you want about the marvel movies, I at least respect that they make smart choices what is canon, what is an in-joke reference and what is just left out from the comic in terms of translating things to live action movies. Like thanos is not literally conversing with a lady personification of death who he is in love with in the MCU. Its not a plot point at all. They are physical items, color coded power gemstones that grant mastery over the thing they are named after, space, time ect. Bad guys gotta catch em all. Instantly anyone who plays video games or anime or scifi or any kinds of stories or structures like that understands. Several of them were used as macguffins in the solo movies to build them up, then they all come together as the super macguffin for a climactic film, just like the heroes do. Just ask some non comic book reader what they think a Mind gem does, then ask them what they think an anti life equation does. I think "mind control superman" is going to be way down the list. In fact, people who mix up DC and marvel are probably more likely to give that answer for the mind gem I just think you pull people out of the movie who have never heard the phrase before. Conceptually, Darksied showing superman maths that makes him turn evil is very "old comicbook-y cheese" in a way thats harder to take seriously when real people are acting it out. All of a sudden they are not immersed in the movie and just thinking, "is it actually an equation? Like a math problem written on a chalk board? Thats weird. How does that kill people? Isn't that anti life and not being controlled? And how does someone singularly posses it? Couldn't someone copy it down and pass it around and everyone would have it, what would happen then?" And then 2 hours later the movie is over and they forgot most of what happened and they say "DC movies suck" again because they never processed any of it.

This doesn't make sense tho cuz you see Lois Lane shut herself out from the world and everyday she was mourning over Superman's death. I don't think there was a time where Bruce and Lois can do the thing and also Bruce tried to kills Sup so it would not make sense how Lois and Bruce would end up making out. Also this doesn't make any sense because Bruce and Dianna shared a scene that hints that they will have some sort of a reslationship which would be utterly pointless if they don't get together. Lois dying would be enough for Superman to break. No need to add the love triangle thingy. Also if flash needs to warn batman about Lois then he could just say "protect Lois as at all times and don't ever let her die because of darksied". Ultimately. Flash mentioned about the one rule he doesn't like breaking but he broke that rule and it didn't have consequences. He broke it to fix things. So I don't see why there was a rule in the first place. Sure it creates alternate timelines but they are showing us that creating the timelines can also fix things if done right. Ignore the rule Barry.. Just Reverse time it things go sideways because ultimately there is no consequence.. Also Superman having a Son is more of an interesting sequel than Batman having an affair.

This video is merging the old original trilogy with the rewritten trilogy. He needs to do more research. As far as I have been able to figure out JL was originally supposed to be a trilogy which the story boards talk about. Then WB made Zack change certain elements because they did not like them such as the love triangle. Then after the backlash of BVS WB change the JL movies from a trilogy to just a 2-part series. Then with the death of Zack's daughter Autumn Zack quit because WB was becoming too difficult to work with (Geoff Johns, Walter Hamanda etc) and making his life hell that he did not have the energy to fight for the movie and his vision anymore and decided to quit and spend time with his family. Then WB brought in Joss.

I would say that they will never do part 2 or 3. However 4 years ago we all got told we would never see the Snyder cut and here we all are. Something tells me with how popular the Snyder cut is and continues to grow in popularity we have a chance to actually see part 2. That's way to much money for WB to just look away from.

@@Mr1tonymon agree to disagree. It was just the same mediocre movie, with twice the run time and even worse CGI and more of Snyder’s shit take on the characterizations of beloved characters. I think it’s better than Ang Lee’s Hulk and Thor Dark World, but not by much. If it had been a bit more entertaining, or the effects had been a bit less janky and amateurish, I’d put it over Captain Marvel and maybe Age of Ultron, which is personally my least favorite Marvel movie and almost as incompetent as the Whedon Cut. It’s better than most of the awful X-Men movies, and the Fantastic Four films, but I think we’re talking actual MCU, not just “any Marvel movie.” Personally, I still think it’s like the third or fourth best DC movie (from the current DCEU), but it can’t touch even the worst of the Nolan trilogy, and would fall somewhere in the middle of the pack of the 90s Batman films. *shrug*

That convo between Batman and Joker made the entire 4 hours worth it! The entire movie was AMAZING! But the dialogue was on point! It makes me ask “so why does WB not want to continue on with a sequel!?” And also “why can’t we get Ben Affleck and Jared Leto to star in a Batman movie together with Deathstroke throw into this beautiful mix! That’s movie gold right there! Bonus: who else got super emotional during the part where Berry saves Iris? I totally did! Now that is pure cinema magic! True Capture of emotions on film. They should just backdrop explain the time travel thing in the start of the next movie, drop the child thing because I think it really destroys Lois’ character and Bruce’s, I mean... he swears on his grave and then knocks up his ex-wife(she wore the ring). Have him make the mistake of Lois dying due to a different reason and them not saying Superman is evil. Also, the dceu is going in a nice direction right now so I Hope they can simply fit the Snyder cut as the new canonical JL movie, keep Aquaman and simply take the next 2 JL movies and couple years to expand the universe into the Magic side and Space side( Zatanna, Lantern Corps, Constantine, Doctor Fate, etc.) and in a FOURTH JL movie tie up the Anti-Life Story.

1. Regarding Flash going back in time. Zack said in an interview that Flash, Cyborg were debating which of the 2 points they should go to and Batman asks them which did they choose on. When they tell him, Bruce replies not that one, go back to this point because you already went to that one and it did not work. This was probably redone after WB scrapped the initial idea about Bruce and Lois being a thing. In this newer version when it was still a trilogy but not the original idea Batman is visited by Flash after they have teamed up but before Darkseid kills Lois. 2. Regarding the pregnancy test in the actual movie. If you watch closely at the end scene where Clark, Martha and Lois are moving back into the Clark farm house you can see Lois holding Bassinet. Bruce tells Clark congratulations. I am not sure how much time has passed between Supermans death and his resurrection but I doubt it was enough time for Lois and Bruce to establish a relationship and get pregnant. In this redone story for the trilogy Bruce was never going to be the father of Lois' child. 3. These story boards were originally written at the same time as BVS so this was definitely planned before End Game. Also Geoff John's is a good friend of Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers already admitted to only doing Civil War as a response to BVS announcement. Hollywood puts out movies that are very similar around the same time frequently. There are dozens and dozens of movies release in the same year with very similar plots and stories.
