ScreenFlow: 10 getting started tips

I compared a number of programs, but the features were worth the cost. Bought it YESTERDAY and my first screencast this morning. It now has a huge library, too. I bought it, but didn't use it at all on my first vid.

Missing Tips => #3 Audio Tab can also help you remove background noise #4 You can even add Text tooltips #5 You can add arrow markers to tell users to click on your youtube cards #6 If you have multiple monitors you can record things only from a Single monitor if you Do not want to display your script/notes on other screen.

I was using quicktimes' screen recorder and the quality is great, but when you edit it theres black bars on the side cause the resolution is different. I tried the trial of this and I'm def buying it.

Help Needed! I am currently using the demo version of ScreenFlow. I am recording on my Mac OS 10.12.6 (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) using my webcam and a Blue Snowball Ice. I have done a few screen recordings, where I am trying to also record the audio from my laptop. The audio from my Snowball comes through beautifully, however, once I finish recording, there is no sign of the audio that was supposed to be recorded from my computer. I downloaded the drive, and have the box reading “Record Computer Audio” checked. However, after my recording is finished and I enter edit mode, I don’t see, nor do I hear the computer audio that was supposed to be recorded. No errors pop up, so maybe I am just missing something in the editing page? If I can figure out how to make it record my audio from computer, I will upgrade from the demo version immediately. Please assist. Thank you!

Sure, just highlight the clip and do a Command C to copy it. Then move your cursor to the point you want to paste it and do a Command V to paste it in. You can even copy a clip from another ScreenFLow document and paste it in to the one you are working on. Same with any separate audio clips.

why should I pay again for screenflow after purchasing it twice now. Iv just gone to use it after a long time to find they have blocked the feature to record the screen. That’s the whole point to purchaser in the first place. Be warned and don’t purchase software.

I find that ScreenFlow is over priced at £100. There should be an option for the recording software for £20 and then the bundle with the editing software for £50.
