Or the sequel comic that includes Sid? These are always ignored If you want to make a theory thats fine but you should always work to fix it not make it worse by ignoring things 1) Monsters Inc is same world, modern day, on a secluded island and they uses doors to teleport around the globe (as thats what it officially is) NOT time travel 2) Cars are just toys being played with by kids (or its a completely different world which it is) and there are more easy fixes I cant remember atm but you get the point thats how you fix a theory. But thats all it will ever be a THEORY so stop using it as if its official or canon cause its not. Maybe it's less of a Pixar universe, more of a Pixar multi-verse? Like in Spider-man: Into The Spider-verse? Maybe Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo are the main Pixar universe with Wall-E as it's future and Brave as its past, Monsters Inc is a parallel universe with monsters in it as inter-dimensional travellers and the good dinosaur takes place in a completely separate universe and Coco's land of the living takes place in the main Pixar universe and the land of the dead is pixar's after-life? I know it's complicated, but it actually makes more sense than the official theory Pixar theory.

Or maybe there's no main Pixar universe. Every movie are in their own universe except for the sequels and spin-offs that expand on a preexisting movie. The Toy Story series are in one universe, Up is in another universe, and all the Easter eggs connecting the films are just stuff that Pixar universes have in common. The Pizza Planet truck shows up in all the films because every Pixar universe has a Pizza Planet. The girl from the aquarium in Finding Dory isn't Riley Anderson but a doppelganger of her from the Finding Nemo universe. Andy's postcards aren't from Carl and Ellie from Up, but their Toy Story universe counterparts. If there are many different Peter Parkers in the Marvel multiverse, there could be doppelgangers and variants within the Pixar multiverse to allow the stories to be as self-contained as the writers intend while the animators can throw in in-jokes to assure us that we're watching Pixar movies.

Another explanation on how these Pixar movies fit into a universe, is that there's a story that's within that universe. (For example Director Quienton Tarantino's movies share the same universe too. In "Pulp Fiction" the movie where the 2 main characters goes to watch are actually "Kill Bill" and "From Dusk Till Dawn" that Tarantino also directed) And the Pixar movies that I believe are stories within that universe. Like in "Toy Story 2" Mrs Potato head is reading a story "A Bug's Life". And the other stories that I think are within that universe are "The Good Dinosaur" and "Up". (And how "The Incredibles" like we see a kid reading a comic book in "Finding Nemo"? Well the stories were written YEARS AFTER the events of supers that they've AGED really old) Does all of this makes sense to anyone now?

If one wants to explain the good dinosaur it's easy enough anyway. 65 millions years isn't as precise as this video makes it sound (or others for that matter), when they released the anniversary Jurassic Park editions recently they didn't change the tagline from "an adventure 65 million years in the making" to "an adventure 65.000.025 years in the making". There could easily still be a gap of fifty thousand years without the "65 millions years" part being wrong. Too much other stuff breaking it as seen in this video however, espesially the monsters inc thing that just straight up dissproves the boo/witch connection and pixar officially saying it's wrong.

The "theory" is just a fun thing someone connected and obviously is purely fan fun... there is no way that Pixar is working off a universal timeline or super story. Pixar's magic in moviemaking is the creativity and uniqueness of each of their films. If they don't like the direction a movie story is going after it gets started they ... change it... there is no way they would be able to have that creative flexibility if they were tied to hitting plot points of some "Master plan". I kinda hate the "Sequel - mania" that goes on too. I would have been happy to see The Incredibles stay as a single stand alone film. I did end up enjoying the second one and was at least glad that Brad Bird was still in charge of it so it keep his original intent. But for instance, we did NOT really need sequels to the Cars movie. It should have been left as a one time single movie with a creative plot and idea. but they needed to sell toys so... there you go. I think the Sequel-need that so many fans seem to want (not me) is what drives this "Pixar theory" mania. Some people just think the stories all have to keep going and tie together in some neat way, but well, they don't. They should be loved for the individual and creative way they each live in their own little world.

I've got two possible theories: 1.that after the events of brave, boo (the witch) traveled to the age of dinosaurs, where somehow she prevented the asteroid collision and created a second reality. 2.That after WAL-E the humans were too fat to get around so they infused themselves with cars creating cyborgs. Like so many theories, it's really easy to debunk them, but that is not the point of the Pixar Theory. The whole point is to find a way to make it work. That is what makes it fun and exciting. It gives the movie watchers something else to do after having seen it however many times they want to. I first noticed the Pizza Planet truck in several Pixar movies before I learned about the theory and found it to be a fun little game for myself to look for it in every Pixar movie, even going back to movies I had already seen to look for it.

1 plot hole (and it could potentially be a big one) with all this is the cars thing. If we’re going by actual mechanics, cars would need to breathe to be able to keep the engine running because in a internal combustion engine (which is what most cars in the series are) you need oxygen to mix with the fuel that when struck by the piston is turned into power which would by logic be the thing keeping them alive.... (Bare with me here.) So in that case the Cars era couldn’t have of happened after wall-E. In fact the cars era would had to of happen prior to wall-E and it would make sense too. Look at it this way, Humans made the AI cars and there became so many of them that humans left and when they came back it was nothing but a waste land due to the lack of oxygen and substantial amount of pollution left by the cars themselves. Thus they made the robots to help clean up the planet, this would also explain all the metal. Finally humans came back and tried to save the planet Would really look forward to feedback on this theory thanks!!

They're never going to do it, because Disney never does what someone else thinks of unless they're able to steal it and take all the credit for it. The Cars movies are set in the way distance future after Bugs Life. The cars from the Cars movies evolved from bugs. They had to reset the earth and their calendar and had to rebuilt technology as for why they have memories from the 20th century, but their reset calendar may just start at 1900 as there are no time references before then. The reason why there are no Bugs Life sequels is because the Cars movies are the sequels to Bugs Life. But honestly, the creators should just let the fans decide whether theories are true or not.

Monsters were a creature know as the "Mon" they isolated themselves from humans and ate a fruit that turned them into Monsters. Wow, this video is so full of incorrect information it hurts. Nowhere in the good dinosaur does it state it is set in our present, an it clearly shows the decline of the dinosaurs and the rise of the humans. It is also very important for the pixar theory because it shows that all species ten towards human-like intelligence over time explaining why all the animals are intelligent. Not enough research done on this one.

The good dinosaur actually doesn't show the decline of the dinosaurs. As much as super Carlin brothers want to think it does. The storm in the movie is just a tornado. Tornados happen every year. The movie shows the dinosaurs doing jobs like normal humans. T Rex's are ranchers on a cattle drive like in old west and the plant water are farmers. So yes the time the movie takes place is more closer to the present. Not anywhere near the 65 million years ago. I would place it more in the time of the old west. So it doesn't and won't ever fit into the Pixar theory since no one at Pixar has ever stated they were on the same time line. Their movies are all stand alone stories.
