"Playing with the skunk" is such an important lesson. It made me think of Pulp Fiction. At no point could anyone say what the hell was going to happen next. The movie is built on this.

Hi I am new to sceenplay writing. I think no one is too late to learn something that they are really interested. I found your channel by chance and I am really thankful that there is online classes which I could listen to without attending a school to learn screenplay writing. Has subscribed to your channel.

Thank you, "A", for following up where I left off. I am nothing but certain history will remember us as the "Founding Fathers (and Mother!)" of this very important KZbin tradition in the screenwriting community. May it inspire and last for centuries! :) @WD I sort of re-experienced the initial moment of last video here and felt a bit nervous. So it's good to see you have a kind and encouraging approach! Like last time, the anxiety soon passed. No wonder people are sending you scripts by the dozens! :) Will also be exciting to see what "item" you'll bring to your next video critique. So far, a tennis ball and a dog... I've got a feeling you'll bring a magic wand next time. And perhaps you'll be wearing a wizard's hat? We *are* in an out-of-the-ordinary Harry Potter season, after all. :)

Really enjoy your videos. You’re really engaging and I like your analogies when you explain a concept/story trope. Your baby story was definitely “surprising”!... I always listen before bed and I sat up in the middle of you telling it like, did I just hear that right haha Anyway thanks I always feel like I learn something new from your videos - and shout out to A for sharing their script, takes guts. Solidarity to anyone tryna write their script right now, keep going

Wow! This video lecture revealed me the most mind blowing, Oscar level, top notch performance by a skunk ever. Very given to its roll. And I bet it did all of its own stunts. It just got clouded by the lecturers amazing tips and lessons. But maybe it was just because she had more screen time. Hahaha!Props to "A" for this great looking story. I also want more.

Hi Word Dancer, hope you are well. I wanted to share Interesting but perhaps unpopular ideas: 1) Do the video focusing on Diablo Cody's script "Juno"? What makes it so great and successful given many saw it as an average script/film. 2) A writing contest amongst your subscribers where they can anonymously submit a maximum of one page long dialogue, winner wins the Final Draft Software! :)

I loved Charlie. In my story, Charlie will be the hero who drives out the big bad wolf who's entered town. How will tiny furry Charlie scare that wolf? He'll simply jump on the wolf's back, bark, and scratch the hell out of him. The wolf yelps and scrambles into the woods. Charlie becomes the town's hero and there are people who even suggest that little Charlie should stand up for the post of Mayor. But Charlie ain't interested. All he wants is a delicious bone. Loved the video. Now I'll watch out for skunks. TY.

Will you ever make a video that will also help with action? I have take a few courses I paid for beginning screenwriting and bought my first Final Draft 2007 or 2008. I am aspiring writer of music lyrics, stories and screenplays. I decided to top hiding in my community let people actually know I write. Like someone not to suppose to know? Will they don't? I want a chance to enter a better screenplay than one I entered in Houston one year. What your advice on writing action better?

I'd go further. I want a script that grabs me in TWO pages, not 10; please! Look at Shakespeare's Richard III: He literally tells you that his brother Clarence will be his first victim, and immediately afterward, Richard meets Clarence as he is lead to the Tower of London.
