thank god i hope buttons return to all phones fully soon, i hate the annoying way it was basically no buttons period for a while. android does it fine with just the same buttons but now on rhe screen (though it still sucks and has its problems by being digital screen buttons) but the apple solution is one of the worst, most needlessly fucked up things ive ever had the displeasure of using. also i hope proper notches return full screen is so stupid and the front facing camera solutions all look annoying and pointless for some "sleek" look

Some of the “chip hacks” that hit the news are so ridiculous. “With this vulnerability, a hacker could do anything at any time….if they get kernel level access to the computer” …so…not a vulnerability. Anyone with kernel level access can do some crazy things. Tell me when there’s a kernel exploit, or another easy way for a hacker to get root access. That’s the vulnerability. Not this secondary crap that you limped in here with. Edit: Couple comments shows I didn’t explain myself well. So many of these exploits that become “news worthy” have this *little* caveat that the hacker would need to physically be on your computer first or first use a different exploit. This one, where they would first need kernel/root access to use this exploit, the reason I say it’s not a vulnerability is because you basically need that level of access to do anything. You’ve already been “hacked” by the time they use this additional exploit. Whatever they first do to get root/kernel access is the vulnerability. After that, pretty much anything can be done, hence why I say this exploit isn’t news worthy.
