Scriabin was such a legendary pianist and composer. No only his concerto, but also his etudes should get much more affection and attention. One of my favourite composer.

Well it’s technically quite difficult. That’s probably why. Requires a very hand span. Of the entire romantic piano concerto repertoire this is my favorite concerto. The Henselt concerto is also a brilliant masterpiece. The Scriabin very Chopin like and influenced by Chopin.

It's my favourite piano concerto too. But when I discovered Moritz Moszkowski's Piano Concerto No.1 Op.3 in B minor, that just had to be my favourite piano concerto as well. So I have two favourites, none better than the other. I hope you also listen to the Moszkowski concertos as well (he wrote two, the second Op.59 in my top ten).

This masterful concerto is not performed regularly because of its tremendous difficulty. Some parts sound simple and easy, but I can assure you they are not. Btw, wonderful audio and video production. Congratulations.
