My take on the whole "they had this planned from the beginning" thing is that I think they wanted to make an ARG to go along with their games (after all, you can get most of the info you need without playing the game too much, and I doubt they thought that qwert and admin1 were gonna stop anyone determined). However, the ARG faded into a tie-in for determined fans.

I noticed something about Don't Escape 4. Probably maker of the video already figured this out but he didn't explained this in detail in the video so I figured maybe I should. In the game even though Cate says "Sidereal Plexus causes explosion at the moon accidentally" that's not the case at all. People escaping one universe to another aren't only consisted of our 4 characters. Important people from Sidereal Plexus escapes as well. 50 something pods was already occupied when they arrived to moon base, and that's assuming it was only room with the sleeper pods (we saw multiple buildings at the distance when we landed on the moon). They probably didn't leave in nick of time like our characters did either. They should have left as soon as they confirmed another universe's earth doomed, after another failure, just after Lunar explosion. Date on the "Escape" e-mail confirms this. It's dated only 1 day after Lunar explosion. So, they probably escaped safely, without emergency mode, all memories intact (there shouldn't be any failures with the computer at the time, even if there was some staff and plenty of time should remain to do necessary repairs). They knew their actions will lead same events in next universe but they still don't care. All for the crystals we saw at Don't Escape 3. Yeah, they are actually mining that, Helium-3 is a cover. Not caring about billions or maybe trillions of people at all, or maybe just thinking them as "fair" sacrifices they doom world after world believing they can mine that crystal next time without destroying the moon. You can see this at the document in floppy disk room when you save Barry. That document refers to Lunar drill. They rely their 89% chance, fully prepared cast another world to the oblivion, seeing them as "expendable", believing "even if they fail they will improve their chances next time", but failing again and again, just for the crystals. They are absolutely the worst. Btw, this is something I thought after I finished my first playthrough but what good would do to you if you arrive next world just before, only 4 days before it's destroyed even if you remember everything? But it seems they arrive sometime before Lunar explosion, it's just that story takes it over when 4 days remains to crash. Once they remember enough (after 2 floppies used) they do something about it and stop it. That's actually amazing (and unrealistic) feat for 4 random people. I mean, stopping plans of multiversal megacorp. Actually I am really surprised they managed to pull that off even after remembering everything.

If you like these, I think you’d really enjoy the offerings from the studio Rusty Lake. Their earlier games were also flash. Another thing with 400 Years, the game opens with the stone being waking up from a deep sleep, sensing that something devastating will happen if it doesn't do anything. This is essentially the exact same set up as Don't Escape 4, albeit David's paradigm is on a much smaller timescale. Is it possible this stone being has these memories because an alternate universe version of itself transported its consciousness to it? It was clearly so confident in this calamity occuring that it essentially sacrificed itself by climbing down a volcano and blocking the lava. For what other reason would it have this foresight?

Given the announcement of the new Deep Sleep game, i wonder what new additions to the Sidereal Plexus lore it will bring.
