Haptic feedback is awesome in single player but it puts you at a disadvantage online. You want pinpoint accuracy and the rumble can throw you off, especially at long distances.

My k/d went from 1.2 to 2.3 after a Scuf on MW2019. It’s a huge advantage. Being able to jump and slide while still aiming makes run n gunning and hip firing so much more clutch, especially on MP. Being able to bunny hop and dolphin dive while not taking your thumb off the right joystick at so you can still aim at any distance is a huge advantage. I just ordered my Reflex FPS and haven’t got it yet so I can’t speak on that but the Impact for PS4 was an absolute game changer for the aforementioned reasons. The trigger stops were clutch, too. The upgrade with the insta click adaptive triggers or whatever they’re called in the FPS are probably gonna be better.

Honestly, don't hold your breath waiting for full customizable reflex controller, you're pretty much stuck with just the reflex, reflex pro, and reflex fps models and colors they have available. If you want to customize your controller, I recommend going with the Hexgaming Ultimate PS5 controller.

No, they cannot. So make sure you order the right controller that works best for you. Reflex FPS for FPS/BR games and Reflex/Reflex Pro for all other games.

Just got mine, everything good except the D pad is very touchy. If I press up on the d pad more than half the time it presses up and left simultaneously, meaning that when I ping someone in warzone it also changes my gun to single fire. Not good

That is correct, no long concave thumb sticks. I think the reasoning behind that is that most people use a domed stick for precision aiming.

Craig, this is common in "Pro" controllers. The thinking is probably if you're buying one of these controllers you have enough experience on playing on Playstation that you have memorized which button corresponds to which symbol.

Question: so i just bought my first scuf and it was a fps version. how long did it take you guys to get used to the paddles? i play games like mw2 so ive been using the paddles to slide or jump but im just catching my self forcing movement instead of moving fluidly. any comments or suggestions welcome!

Recently got mine, use left paddle for jump and right for ping (easy to do whilst shooting), don’t need slide as play tactical. Removed the two smaller inner paddles but may consider changing in future after I get used to this. Just use the paddle for jumping in your normal way, it’ll take a bit to get it into your muscle memory but when it is your movement will just be that little bit more fluid!

I use one paddle for jumping and one for square for reloading, reviving, interacting, etc. I might setup an inner paddle for crouching/prone and the other for down button for the backpack in WZ 2, pinging or maybe kill streaks. Definitely the first two paddles, though.

I don't use vibration or anything, but yes the price should reflect the absence of features. Also customization should not be extra. It should be a set price and you can customize it how you want. They nickel and dime you so bad with thay stuff. I paid 280 for my xboxone instict pro after full customization and its 199.99. That's insane.

Sounds like your PS4 hard drive has gone bad. Replace the hard drive and reinstall the PS4 system software using USB method.

Much prefer the Aim controller than the scuf which is also alot cheaper but superior in every way. Scuf were way to late to launch a ps5 controller. The Aim Controller still looks and performs like it is still brand new after a 1 year of use. I probably wont be saying that about the reflex after 6 months of use.

I have quite a few I bought when I switched back to controller from mouse and keyboard. My favorite is the evil controllers. Love the back buttons, fits on a charging dock still, and I’m a fan of the stock shell - just enough grip. Their mouse clicks are far and away better than the extreme rate triggers.

Aimcontroller back paddles are worst ever in the world…or you have very small hand or they are impossible to use properly with that “spider” form …scuf a lot better

It's really to bad that you can change out the stick mechanism for that price. I know some manufacturers does have this option, but Astro stop making them and the other one has the bottom buttons pretty much away from the grab handle. Every controller is a totally rip off, since you can't change the stick mechanism when they drift too much or a5 least have software to correct it. Where are the next generation possibly magnetic ones? Has anyone figured this stick drift crap out yet? Not worth your hard earned money. To pay $250 you need a paycheck that's at least $350 to get to $250 after taxes.

No, not that I am aware of. If you want vibration you'll need to either get the Reflex Pro or the regular Reflex.
