League Football is back, just this time it’s the National League. Guess what though a win is a win and it feels amazing whatever league you’re in. Grateful to everyone at the club that got today together. Atmosphere was great, outside and inside the ground. Music, food, face painting. Just a generally feel good vibe. A complete difference to last season. Then to top it off the players performed on the pitch. It feels so good coming away, knowing your team has picked up 3 points. Onto Maidenhead next

.......over 3K attendance is pretty good given KO time and I don't suppose there were too many away fans given the travel distance....not sure of the level of attendances in the conference...

Yes was good to say we were getting less than half of that last season. Was also shown on BT sport. Seems to be a new found belief with the club and fans - the community is coming back together. We just need to keep building on that now. Think i read about 150 Yeovil fans. Several clubs get bigger attendances than that. Wrexham, Chesterfield, Notts County, Southend, Oldham will now they've been bought out. Plus others i'm guessing, when the first few games have been played and things settle down.

Yes, I’m expecting us to be down here a while I’ll be honest. Good to start the season with a win though. Few and far between last season 🤦🏻🤣😂 Cheers and to you too.

I’m keeping tabs on donny this season I think I follow non league football I’m a owls fan so I’m not far. This national league is super competitive it’s basically another league 2 money is getting thrown into it big time you have league one players like Paul mullin at Wrexham. My feeling is scunny will finish around 17th this season which would be a good yard stick to what they need to get scunny up maybe in two years. Anyway I’m babbling on great vlog watched you last season which was painful and had sleepless nights hoping you was ok mentally lol

Yes some serious money down here. After last season I’d have happily taken 20th 😂🤣 I think we’ll finish mid table. Obviously I’d like us to get promotion, as does every other clubs fans. Luckily I had my daughter to take my mind off the football last season. So it was easy to unwind, looking after a baby and forgetting about football 👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you for watching too, it’s appreciated 👍🏼

Yes as one of the lads said, it felt like new owners had already come in. It was just a completely different atmosphere. I don’t think any fan could turn around and say they aren’t going back, because it wasn’t enjoyable. Just need to keep carrying it forward now. The real test will be when (not if) we lose at home. I’m sure other will turn up, after hearing all the positive comments about the day.

It really was a good day. Work behind the scenes has been great, with everything happening outside the ground. Not heard anything negative about it. Great atmosphere that transferred in to the ground too. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a game. Need to follow it up now down at Maidenhead 👏🏼👏🏼

It was opened in 88, so in the grand scheme of things, it’s still fairly new compared to a lot. Though it looks very tired now. Compared to last season though - (wasn’t much to shout about), yesterday the crowd were up for it. Just felt like a fresh start. As for Butterfield, just quality. Has time, presence of mind, just everything he does he makes it look so easy 👏🏼👏🏼

@@ScunthorpeUnited yes the bus struggle to get up one broke down going down after match then train got cancelled we all went to a pub the train back was packed with football fans chanting did a brief video wouldn't want to go back there in winter time might still happen with a cup draw 🚜🚜🔵⚪️

Definitely felt good, didn't want to leave. Been a long time since I've felt like that. Everyone was smiling and never heard a bad word. Everything feels like its coming together at the moment. As you say, we need to pick up some points on the road now. Grimsby lost 3-1 down at Maidenhead last season.
