i've seen on ebay a complete metal frame upgrade including the new 5 transfercase which cost twice more than the stock car itself.. very interesting

Vitavon Axles are so awesome, thanks for showing them close up and walking through them, cost is crazy to get them in Canada, will have to find another option, maybe the treal set as they are easier to get here in Canada and half the cost. don't get me wrong would rather have the Vitavon's.

Just ordered my vitavon axles as long as with a lot of other vitavon parts for my scx6 so hyped ! It was very expensive I’ve spent so far 2,500$ on a 1,100 RC agh crazy

I'm around $4500. So far, but have enough parts going on it to equal $7500.

I'm planning to have an scx6 but knowing how much it cost to get an upgrade, but I really love this kind of hobby though..

I think you are referring to the spacers between the hub and axel. I show them on the video and where they go

What was all the clicking towards the end of the video during the rock climbing? Sounded like gears slipping?

Nope, that was the limited slip diff working good. (Slipping). That's why I replaced them with lockers in the next video.

@@upgradedrc3697 what’s the purpose of having a limited slip when off roading or crawling? Other than turning sharper. Real 1/1 vehicles lock up front and rear to get the most grip…I would think it would be the same in the RC world too.

Yes, I did the limited slip for people who requested it. Abd wanted to know how it worked.

It sounded to me very similar to a detroit locker but the detroit only "slips" when power is applied very lightly like when you are making a tight turn. If you are harder on the throttle then the gears lock together and wont slip at all. Obviously in this video it was doing the reverse of what it is supposed to do so i doubt the diff is designed like a detroit locker. Source of detroit locker reference: My 2000 Jeep Cherokee with Detroit in the rear and True Trac front limited slip.

Could you give me a link to your work stand for the scx6? Been looking for one but mainly find 1/10, 1/8 scale, the one you have seems to stand your truck with good clearance.

the metal diff house upgrade cost the same as brand new stock scx6.
