Yeah, well it is randomized, so the moves that pokemon are able to learn are also randomized. But in normal gameplay, Mew can learn basically any move.

its one of the rules of a nuzlocke challenge. you have to name every pokemon you get (from the wiki itself) "The general consensus is that players must also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds." its a subconscious thing that actually works pretty well
