This boss fight was always really cool to me. Sure it's a rematch, but the intensity of the second phase and the increasingly frantic music really sells it for me. Not to mention it's basically Kaiju battle.

I like that Chunky begs to Dogadon for safety, then has probably the most brutal way of defeating a boss in the game

here's a fun fact, in the earlier stages of development, dogadon 2 was actually the ONLY version of this boss in the game, angry aztec was supposed to have a completely different boss originally before being replaced with a weaker copy of dogadon. it would have been a snake that fired laser beams, and there are still statues of it in the angry aztec beetle race, the only existing footage of this boss is from a blurry video recording of a showcase reel of this game from E3 1999 also yeah the platform will sink if you take too long lol, it's an instant death if it sinks all the way. i only know this because i had a lot of trouble with this boss as a kid, if i remember right the platform also instantly sinks/rises to a specific height in the boss defeat cutscene depending on how long it takes you to beat him

Dogadon rematch is main reason why I love reoccurring boss fights. He makes you think it'll literally be like last time and he makes a twist out of it. Making it a basic boss battle to a timed boss battle. Plus the music is hype

It's really interesting how there are still Klumps in that area because the game is programmed so you have to go into that area at night meaning they would've have to been Krossbones. However, you glitched through that area in the day and not only they're still Klumps, they function pretty normally and not glitching out or anything.

To answer your question Scykoh, yes, there is a time limit on the boss fight. Take too much time an the platform will fully sink, killing you instantly.

For the final boss, the platform will keep going until it reaches the lava and you will lose match. I learned that the hard way last time I played this, I kept super punching him because I thought that was how you were supposed to do it. It took me three times of falling into the lava to check out how to beat the boss and I found out I was doing it wrong.

It's always unfortunate news when the end of a fun series is approaching, but the level I'm looking forward to the most is the second-to-last one, so I'm looking forward to it! I have loved this series though; it's been way too long since I last had daily videos to watch. KZbin is a shell of what it used to be. But Scykoh's one of those people that isn't gonna sell out to the algorithm or whatever and just keep having fun making videos! Right guys? Right? Also Chunky vs. Dogadon is one of the coolest boss fights in this game, but I think the spooooky one beats it for me.
