I bought the Fast Cat 14 fully loaded with the Honda 9.9 package and the Mega inflator just now. Of course I used your affiliate link so you can get paid for steering me to the Fast Cats. I’m not sure what % they give you but it was almost $7k so I hope it’s a decent chunk. Hopefully it’ll cover part of an Insta360 camera or something you need/want. Keep doing what you do brother and thanks for always making honest reviews on the industries newest gear. Now when it gets delivered I’ll have to trailer it across alligator alley and race you in your Fast Cat 12. With the weight difference they will probably be pretty close. Yeah I needed something that would fit in my garage and fit 4 ppl. It’ll fit on the trailer I have the BSB 360 Pro on and they’re both light enough to swap easily. I was hoping they had the Honda 20 but it probably won’t make a huge difference in speed and it won’t be as economical as the 9.9. It’s also nice that it can be rolled up and put in the back of the truck for vacations in the mountains without towing a trailer. All of the new inflatables you’ve been testing since iCast have had my attention and when you got the Fast Cat 12 I thought now that might work so I checked it out and saw the 14. I popped your video on the tv for my wife and daughter then showed them the 14 and they said when does it get here! Didn’t take me long to put it in the cart with the mega inflator then I thought I’m forgetting something so I paused for a bit then remembered. I closed it out and went back for your link when I finally remembered what I was as forgetting 🤣.

I did end up swapping the 9.9 for the Honda 20 just before it shipped since it’ll be on a trailer anyway. I didn’t want to sit sideways trying to tiller steer the 20 (it’s only 11 pounds more than the 9.9 but I’d rather be facing forward) so I got the remote steer version with electric start and power trim. Since there is no console to put a steering wheel and throttle/trim controls on I got an EZY-Glide stick steer and the Honda throttle control unit. I have to make a mount for each out of Starboard and mount them on the aluminum plate the seats are mounted on. Looked like yours did really good on the 30 mile trip you did! I would definitely get the remote fuel tank like you said. Other than frequent fill ups it did really good in the chop even with the trolling motor off to one side. I saw where you moved it to the front on another video and that seemed perfect. I’m going to follow your lead and do the same with my trolling motor. I’m curious to see if you do the shorter mount up front how much it will flex with a smaller footprint to hold it on the front deck. I was thinking of making a wedge mount so it would be level on the front which would also put it a little deeper. If you end up needing the motor head deeper you can get a longer shaft to replace the 36”. I cut my trolling motor shaft down some for the kayak so I might have to get a longer shaft. I know there’s a lot of work no one sees that goes into making videos but even with that you have a fun job!!

I saw your comment about that new KZbin darling, Joe something. Sorry, KZbin blocks links, even to their own platform, so I thought about responding to you here. I can make that video, and it will probably get 3k views and die off. It's so frustrating, bro. I've got videos like here in this channel: I built an entire boat out of an inflatable mattress, and caught dinner, catch clean and cook. I built the kayak house tent boat, nothing. It doesn't get pushed by the algorithm. What really bothers me about that video from Joe is that the motor he used is TRASH, so freaking slow. You're better off with a 55 lb thrust trolling motor! They have an electric one, and I thought about doing the video but then I was going to trash the motor because it is trash, then decided not to do it. For years, I've had this idea of getting the paddle board I have in the garage and turning it into a microkiff that actually works. I may do it, but I bet you it's going to get 3000 views and die off. That's why I can't really make these big project videos. That tent house boat took weeks of work, and KZbin killed the video at 18,000 views. Effing annoying.

The reason you’re losing all those fish is your rod is to whippy. You need a rod with a little more backbone it will solve your problems.
