What a cluster mate😂😂😂great video as always, really enjoyed it. That place looks as snaggy as one of the marks I fish, got to wind like mad to get it up over the ledge. Tightlines buddy👍👍🎣🎣

Tight lines Dylan👍 I've still got to catch up on your cod video from yesterday. This mark is snaggy as anything but on it's day its worth it

Amazes me the amount of space you leave between your bait clips and lead. Clip up directly behind your lead as it not only stream lines your rigs but protects the bait in the cast.
@gsp2 жыл бұрын
I'm never that worried with smaller baits on multiple hook rigs because you still have the drag from the 2nd and 3rd bait. On large pulley/ pulley dropper rigs the bait is always clipped to an imp directly behind the lead

Great session and what a Whiting, if only they were all that size , you'll get a few fish fingers out of that one 🎣👍

Good session and worth the trip. Those dogfish are always short on brains and sit in the shallows and head back to the waters edge most of the time !

Hi greg you ok pal, cheers for the watch again much appreciated. That looks a good spot to fish greg .is that were you had them rays that time? You n the boys looked like you had good time again. I still hav'nt managed my first codling of autumn winter yet . Still massive whiting and odd rockling 4 me , but the codling are starting to show so its just a time game. I was still catching small codling in april any way All the best greg from GRIMSBY.
@gsp2 жыл бұрын
Yes mate that is where I had those rays👍 I haven't fished here for a while but it still fished quite well. I wouldn't mind a nice session on some big whiting and I think we should arrange a session together on the humber and you can show me how it's done.

Do you crush the barbs on your hooks?, as you make it look easy to de-hook the dog fish. If you lay an eel on newspaper, it stops it wriggling around for a few seconds, just enough time to unhook the fish, but I think Mark was past that stage, lol, but still worth a try, I always have some newspaper in my tackle box. Again great video
@gsp2 жыл бұрын
Cheers Jeremy. No I don't crash the barbs I just must be an expert at unhooking 😂😂😂😂 I think the eel was past calming but I've heard that too👍

@@gsp I normally always have to use a T-bar or forceps. I tip my hat to you sir
@pjf19572 жыл бұрын
Bet your bottom dollar, your tackle loss is due to the rock oysters (invasive pacific oysters) cutting your line. We have the same problem here in the river Dart.
@gsp2 жыл бұрын
100% Robert! If they don't cut your line they catch it. They're sharp and on mass create a giant velcro snag that everything gets hooked on🤦🎣🎣
@pjf19572 жыл бұрын
@@gsp you can try wire line for your traces. The fish don't seem to mind, especially doggies, We catch bass with no probs using wire traces and minimises tackle loss. Tight lines and keep the footage coming.
