Sea Glass hunting, the Warren, Folkestone in Kent

Welcome to my latest sea glass hunting adventure! In this video, I'm exploring The Warren, a beautiful pebble beach near Folkestone in Kent, known for its abundance of sea glass. Great video, as a beachcomber/mudlark myself I know that feeling of finding those lovely little bits of treasure. I’ve never been to a bottle dump as going alone to remote areas where most old dumps are situated for me would not feel safe, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. To find old bottles and jars and other bits of history would be a joy x

When I was a kid my grandparents used to take me somewhere where we used to dig up old bottles, so now that they are no longer with us, sea glass hunting is a way for me to still feel close to them in finding this buried treasures ❤️ thanks for watching and I hope one day you can get to more places for your hunting 🫶🤩

My family and I were in the same place yesterday! Probably left just around the time you arrived and had a great time collecting. We are not professionals, but think they are so pretty and will most likely display them in a jar when we get home. Happy hunting!

If you want sea marbles and better glass go towards cop point at the warren towards the martello end of warren plenty of fossil there too

Thanks for the tip. I did head that way yesterday. I got all the way around to copt point. On the way back I did find a marble! It was however embedded in the clay and perfectly shiny like new. Jane also found a proper sea marble but on the low tide beach beneath the sea defences
