"game title is my justification for my sadism" "sea of thieves" could also be referencing the undead thieves. there's plenty to do (pve) on here that's fun without having to ruin other people's fun. it doesn't necessitate griefing... or just being an ass. that being said, i realize the intent was to make it possible for people to have the freedom to be the ass, if they so choose. hence why pvp is even allowed... as well as stealing other peoples shit, etc...but there are alliance options (where everybody wins together), so friendly play was also part of the game. they provide you the choice to play good or bad. how you decide to play is indicative of what you choose... so don't hide behind the title to rationalize your sadism.

Same. The PvP-oriented players snooping about are what make the PvE fun in the first place, truly. Players hunting for PvE'rs is what gives everything you do a sense of urgency before someone finds you. The PvE content trying to stop you isn't enough once you're even decent at the game. Players are the MASSIVE threat to you, at all times.

I solo'd a sloop and took out a galleon I filled em with holes and killed I think two on the top deck with cannons. Then they came up beside me and I jumped on their ship and killed one the other one idk what he was doing. Then I shot him to keep him from repairing before we got black screened. Came back to my sloop repaired it and scooped the water out I got hit once. The thing is I've only been playing three weeks. So then an experienced brig decimated me and spawn killed me til they jumped to another brig.

My only problem is that all the beings on my server just group up and all spam fire bombs when I get close. I’m thinking I should bait them out sometime and when they all get close together I should cannon or blunderbomb them.

It can, but my experience with it is not great. My game also has a tendency to deny me access to most merchant alliance reps due to bad internet. I adore the lost cargo missions though.

Why would anyone bother with new players? If I see a new player they always have shit for loot, maybe a captains chest at most. So I leave them alone, not worth wasting cannon balls on inexperienced players so I can feel like I’m better. This game is what you make it. Respect others for playing it the what they do and vice versa. SoT has a lot more to offer than *only* attacking everything in sight. Mixing it up a bit with both PvP and PvE, while sometimes fighting people or working together with them, is what makes it the most fun IMO.

I may come across as "friendly" when in reality, I have more important things to do that pick fights with people. I get that it's a game about Pirates and looting and killing, however some people want to chill with their friends and do some short voyages and play the game how the want. I am a peaceful player, if some attacks, I will obviously retaliate. But sometimes people are so hungry for PvP, they push it too far and are just dicks. This guy was tailing, I pulled over, waved at him did the "Make Friends" emote; but no, he killed me and burnt/sank my ship and I didn't even have loot. Why be a dick and ruin the fun? PvP when it's necessary, but destroying peaceful players (like a Galleon vs Sloope (or whatever)) is just a dick move.

MEME FACTORY I actually was going to sink a solo sloop with a random at an outpost cuz we were selling loot and I didn’t want him to steal it so we tried sinking them and we got DESTROYED and the guy stole our loot. But once it was all stolen he did and emote and said “ Well played! “ So I replied “ Well played! “ back to him and he caught a mermaid. That’s how pirates should act. Sinking people for their LOOT! Not sinking them for fun when they had no loot and was doing a tall tale.

A couple of days ago, I was soloing a galleon. Reaper's of Wanderer's. I got tons of chests that were stolen by two lvl 10 Athena's, after they killed me. After some bullshit saying "You haven't earned this" I got a random person on the sloop and helped me get the loot back and more. Then he says I didn't give him a fair chance XD

nothing from the arena? just randomly clips from looting thoose that wanna do voyages and skull forts. well you manage to make them angry. i do like how you circle around the name of the game "thieves" and also "pirates" its like in trial fusion where you have to fusion the trials or garrys mod where you have to mod garry. maybe..l sometimes.. i dont find the rageing part of your clips that funny. but you got some skills thats for sure. hope to see you make arena movies.. maybe you have ill have to check afther.
