Seadoo Niagara Falls Rapids Man goes down in whirlpool!

Marina Mafia jumps in for the risky ride up Niagara river to the level 5 rapids, making your way up river past the hydro dams past the BIG rapid and finally to the whirl pool. You will see man go underwater with the Seadoo and also another flip over off his Seadoo in the rapids. Making your way to the whirlpool seems to be as far as anyone is allowed to go, but I don't know if we would dare further if allowed anyways.

As someone who has been riding racing quads and waverunners and small speed boats for 20 years or so. I can tell yall this place is no joke. I have crossed the gulf and drove from Tampa all the way to the keys and the Bahamas by myself. This however I would never attempt alone. Dudes lucky he didn't get sucked uneder

Good safety comments, particularly about backup rescuer and situation awareness. In whitewater kayaking and rafting the team concept is essential. Cool mega volume river.

Whirlpool is the strongest rapid in the world on the surface, under it is SO MUCH WORSE. Thats Niagara Falls bottle necked into that spot and if you go under in level 6 you can get sucked down so easily. You are very lucky to survive that!!!

I did this a few years ago with a small Yamaha EX sport and I still had PTSD after a month . Never again ! But super awesome video , thanks for sharing 🙏

Solid question here in the event of an engine failure are you SOL for insurance coverage due to where it was taken? like it it went off a water fall.

I wrecked you coverage is only. Limited to seasonal (summer) and that it does not extend to (off shore ocean riding) Unless you upgrade, otherwise I felt confident my insurance would cover these waters as inland Canadian waters. Easy to confirm yourself.

Hey, great questions. As far as I can tell with multiple trips and other boaters. You can come in the low side of the falls from St. Catharines just fine all the way up to the whirlpool and inside the whirlpool but may not be allowed past that. You’ll fine a boat ramp on the lower river just before the fun stuff as well near the power plants.

All three tunnel intakes are upstream of the Control Dam, however one of the three tunnels is unseen, under the water, located directly in front of the Control Dam, Control Tower. The open cut canal and the tunnel canal cross at the "Cross Over" where there is a third channel feeding the 174 MW pump generating station 43°08′40″N 79°03′36″W which pumps water up into the man-made reservoir at night and generates electricity during the day, feeding the water back to the Sir Adam Beck Generating Complex.[6]

My hubby and I have been thinking of doing this ride, maybe not as close as you guys but I just wanted to know a few questions…where did you launched from?, did you have to refuel at any point? And so I know how far not to go how far did you get? Did you make it past devils holes? Your video was probably the best explained video of that ride that I’ve seen and it was pretty epic!!

Hey thank you so much for enjoying the video! We launched at St Catherine’s Marina/port Weller. However I’ve done that twice and after riding you get beat up and just wanna go home sometimes or do some other things at the falls after. So we suggest using the Queenston Docks. It puts you right at the entrance of the gorge and you’ll save lots of gas money. We never had to fill up once, but did come back empty after riding quite a while, landing in St Catherine’s. We haven’t done this yet, but will be next time. Maybe even join you. Devils hole rapids, yes we did make it past them all the way to the whirlpool, which is where I believe everyone has to stop and I don’t think anyone could make it anyways. It’s considered impassible, you’ll see why in person or go ahead and buy tickets to the white water walk for $20 and walk down by the level six rapids. Again thanks for the view and love this adventure.
