Have you ever tried the smash method? I heard a tip once and I tried it. When they come out of the oven grab them one at a time throw them down on the table. They come out very fluffy inside and very easily come away from the skin when you open them. I love your tip to open the potatoes. It's much better than cutting with a knife. Thanks!

This looks really GOOD! Have you ever tried the smash technique for the baked potato. Once they're out of the oven and still piping hot you pick them up throw them hard onto the counter or cutting board before you open them. The potato releases easily from the skin when you cut them open. The best thing is you get all of the potato rather than having a lot of it stick to the skin.
