As a black Caribbean woman born and living in Europe, my mother teached me to love and take care of my natural beauty. But She was not really agreed with my locs journey because of their bad reputation. But then she saw that I remained serious at school, kept my dignity and self respect hight, got my degrees and now have a job... To me locs are so beautiful and give a strong message to Babylon, specially for feminine black beauty. I Almost 8 years of locks. I never want anybody to touch them so I learnt how to maintain and how to take care of them. My locs are my crown. I feel beautiful with them. I am not a Rasta but I got that special relation of spirituality with my hair.

I give thanks for you all, my family in Ha'mashiach. I was always set to believe that our hair on our bodies, where ever the hair is located, it's for a reason. Or skin is a large organ and the pores leaving open without hair can cause infection entering in the body. Nostrils hair is there yo block dust from getting up there etc. The most High gave us hair for protection. It's very spiritual. I love my natural roots. Barber shops, nail salons ( putting things on our nails are very toxic. Wonder why the man made polish never stays), mak-up (clogs your pores)etc...all these things are the works of the enemy( Hasatan) trying to make a adjustment to the Most High YAH perfect creation. If you did not get it it's not for you:Matthew 13:10-17 KJV And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? [11] He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. [12] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. [13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: [15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. [16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. [17] For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them ; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. I vowed to God that I would never drink alcohol as to break a curse on my husband's family of alcoholism as well as I know the story of Samson and I feel as my locs keep me spiritually strong. Beautiful gentlemen and amazing video. Thank you I personally just kept washing my hair and leaving it alone and dreadlocks formed and that was 13 years ago. All stages of dreadlocks are gorgeous I loved all of the stages There is no ugly stage in divine mind. I love your point on products being unhealthy. Yes, they are very unhealthy for the health of your locs and for the health of your mind and body. IMHO all oil is a no no for dreadlocks period with the exception of essential oils used moderately in water. The reason being, they weigh the dreadlocks down. No matter how thick your locs are they should be light not heavy. They should move with the wind. The only moisturizer I use is water or tea infused waters with a few drops of essential oils. When you have a healthy diet without any animal products your scalp produces a natural healthy oil from your own body. So, a diet of a lot of fruits and some soft greens in addition to a moderate amount of nuts and seeds helps you produce healthy oils. Avocado is a fruit and when eaten regularly is great for naturally producing hair oils. Your hair can be washed with out soap. Nature provides us with everything. It is said that Bob Marley washed his hair with Hibiscus Tea. Teas of Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Rose, Oregano, Chamomile, Cilantro, Cardamom etc are excellent for your dreadlocks. The PH balance of products used on your skin and hair is very important in terms of staying balanced. Eat well, keep a balanced mind, meditate love yourself and others, stay blessed attract and send blessings to others and your locs will love you for it. ❤️

Think of how modern lifestyles pervert nature. Bodies pumped with hormones in food, eating foods that are completely out of balance with what they need, lack of connection to work that has meaning, lack of community. The majority of the population drowns in illness, obesity, loneliness, mental health issues. We can all recognize that when a woman grows a beard, something is wrong. PCOS is a rampant problem. Hair has meaning and shows us the vitality of the person. We can see wisdom in white hair, strength in body hair, health in shiny hair, illness in dull and breaking hair. The body is the vessel through with we interact with the world.

He was so right when he was talking about the spiritual connection to the universe and dreams and such. I have had so many vivid dreams since I started mine. You are so right about the evil entities getting trapped into the locs. I said it on another comment about some group of people believed that if you had a negative experience or traumatic event that you would cut them as to remove the evil. The connection with God and locs are soooo powerful. I have felt more connected to people and have had less anxiety, I started mine in September of last year so they are fairly young locs still. I say I'm in the stage where the devil doesn't want me to have locs as my hair is trying to shed out at the ends and I roll back up into the other hair.

That's exactly how I feel about my dreadlocks. The devil doesn't want us to be in tune with ourselves . it's interesting when I read your comment. This is my 3rd set of locks. I don't believe I will ever cut them again. Each time I cut it I lose strength and groundation and feel naked without them.

I wonder if when the Bible speaks of anointing your head with oil if in those instances instead of on top of the hair its referring to the cerebral fluid that travels upward the spine and bathes the brain also referred to as Oil of Christ, etc as taught in esoteric teachings. I'm sure anointing the top of the head/ hair with oil is beneficial but I wonder when we're reading this passage if this is the true reference and meaning in that instance. Especially knowing how some things (many) have been lost in translation whether on accident or on purpose.

They express spirituality with the way they look and they don’t even need to speak. I fell in love with the way of living and so I loc’d my long hair - it turned very short lol I saw women around me spending lots of cash on dying. Cutting, extensions - I did not ever want to be that way. Almost 4 years now it is long, very heavy. But to me it means the same - strong in the spirit, separation from the Babylon way of life. Just by looking at you, you don’t need to say anything people know you live in the spirit. You live a natural life. Also share a birthday with Bob Marley Rastaman 2/6. Bless 🌞🌚

Makes sense about what Sage says about what to do and not do when locking your hair....I watch a lady name Yannie who says to only wash your locs 3 times per year and wrap it up, and it won't smells....she only use natural products, oil and water in her clients hair to groom it. As for her, she freeforms. So I cut my 7 year old locs and started it product free

I met a lady from Suriname who said the same but she only washes once a year. No products and ingests oils rather than applying to scalp. Her hair is so healthy.

Thank you for the information. Couldn’t you have just washed your 7 years Locs without cutting them off? Instead, regain momentum by stopping the use of products?

I have two questions and would be happy for someone to answer. Is the cristian bible the same as the rastafarian bible? The same Text? Also what is Jeromw S sayin in between like at 21:09 ? Great Video very interesting talk.
