To get your bumper back on, you need a piece of wood (to go over the clip) and a mallet to gently but firmly hit it with! Do each one individually and it will work. If you don’t have a mallet, use the side of a hammer. Good luck 👍

A vacuum cleaner is great for sucking a pull cord through the flexi conduit. Tape the pull cord to a piece of paper towel or a small rag.

Love Sundays! Another great video! In regards to the rope running from end to end on the conduit, this is a method we use at work. Forward thinking, when you use that rope to pull your cables through, ensure you back rope it, I.e. attach a rope to the cable you're pulling through so you can pull future cables in should you want anything else installed I.e. ambient lighting, sound system for a cinema, etc... Keep up the great work. To all, have a wonderful Sunday.

Congratulations to your Wife & yourself, I hope the little one is ok. Regarding the side door trim, it doesn’t matter now but I bet that glue you had trouble with wasn’t to stop water, I reckon the trim had been off previously, .probably for a repair to the door as it has to come off to get to the hinge bolts. That, and the membrane already having a hole in it, point towards someone having been there before and rather than replace a few broken clips, they glued it on with the strongest glue in the world 😂

Nice I Shaun. I follow Combe Valley Campers for all of my insulation, sound deadening tips. Really great vlogs. I would put a bit more sound deadening on those panels though. It’s a bit more expensive, but I’ve covered most of the panels and it makes a massive difference. Think VW doors when they shut, a nice thud when you tap the panel.

If you forget to put string in. Just bunch some string up on one side (big knot) and use a vacuumed cleaner to on the other side. It will suck the sting though. Very easy

The clips that have broken off could be reattached to the trim by welding (using a hot soldering iron) and also melt some extra hard plastic around the join. There are also various hard plastic glues that I have successfully used but make sure the glue works on "hard" plastic. For cleaning surfaces use acetone on a rag but be careful as it will "melt" the cellulose paint (also works well on PVC window frames1)

Easiest way to run you pull string is to tie a piece of material or part of a rubber glove, then feed it down one end, then get a “hoover “ and suck it through from the other end. Another handyman with no experience in another video wanted to insert the line of wire attached outside the wall inside the wall cavities, so he cut the cables and experienced a lot of troubles reconnecting them even though the wires are color coded. There were bad connection identified by the computer. It took him two days to solve the problem. SO, NEVER MEDDLE WITH THE FACTORY INSTALLED WIRES TO SAVE TROUBLE. Just go around them.

Happy Sunday. So if you had your time again would you have sealed the first panel from the inside, or you happy that you took the panel off?
@LoveSundays
@LoveSundays Жыл бұрын
Looking at the job from sealing the panels from the inside I probably would’ve left the sliding door one in place. I didn’t show it in the video but I had to take the rear door panels off because you can’t access all the clips from the inside. If you’re going to take a panel off I think it’s better to jot remove all clips like I did as it made it very difficult to line up when putting it back on
