Sealy posturepedic raindrop, with all the heavy metals in the gel, is it safe? Why is it not CertiPUR-US certified like the other sealy mattresses? Is the gel going to breakdown over time and release unsafe heave metals? What about the chemicals used for the antibacterial top layer, can you go into depth on these points with professional testing? Also effects on human hormones and skin absorption.

Mattress nerd, I have tried the plus version of this bed in the store and really liked it. Are there any mattresses that you reviewed that feel similar to this one? I love the plus version but want a cheaper price point?

we just tried out all the models of the hybrid line on Monday and after we tried one didnt touch anything else!!! we started on the plus just because it looked sweet and then seen the price..... then we were led to the medina the lower end 500 to 550 firm and soft and firm definitely got the win!! we then tried the paterson 550 to 600 middle of the road which is technically called a med but id say med/firm had better support for me atleast in the back area my wife still liked the firm medina better so we were happy and were going to plan on purchasing those till we seen these at another store but they were the laceys 700 to 1200 (depending on where you go)the highest quality before the plus line, and there they had both soft and firm and we both loved the firm again they got the price down to 1200 and we decided we would go with the medinas until i checked online home depot had them all on sale for less then anywhere so i purchased 2 twin xl's laceys for 701 each 500 less then a store by us.....i am 300lbs 6 foot my wife is 5' 8ish 140lbs for reference. if you havent bought one yet check home depot they also have a 10% off code you can use on top of the sale. its crazy how much more some places charge so be smart.
