One of my favourite of what I like to call "diehardina" movies. I love how Sean Astin spends the whole damn movie running away from terrorists with a giant friggin' target on his back. ☺

The thing is, there was already a "diehardina" ski resort movie, Crackerjack, which was made six years earlier, and it was just as stupid as this one.

@madisonhobbs3239 жыл бұрын
jockslap I never said they have to enjoy both of their content. You're right, it is perfectly reasonable for people to enjoy one without the other. I guess I just took it the wrong way. I wasn't trying to be mean, I just felt like the guy's comment was a little rude. Phelan's voice is definitely unique, but I personally love it.
@ken1318 жыл бұрын
a year later, I'll add that conversations like these are pretty uncommon.People generally seem to be OK with the two of them being in videos. Meanwhile, Alison has uploaded their older crossovers as unlisted videos in playlists on this channel, so people have to actively look for those videos to see them. And are people doing that? Yeah, actually, we are.

Yes, Prometheus was a stupid movie for all kinds of reasons, but the scene with Charlize Theron getting squashed by a giant rolling spaceship when she could have easily run to either side is undeniably the dumbest moment in a movie full of dumb moments.

It makes sense to me that the sniper would hesitate to make the shot. The bullet doesn't really fly exactly at the point of the cross hairs. Wind and other things can make it veer off course. In real life, I don't think every sniper would feel confident enough that they could kill Bruce and not hit the girl.

Any time I see a bearded older man get hurt or killed in a movie, I say "not Stacy Keach, noooo", sort of a "Bob Vila" in Werewolf moment in MST3K thing. Whenever I see a production where Keach is actually IN it, it's even worse.

18:33 - Actually tracked vehicles can turn quite well. Some older tanks had to stop one track to turn (slowing down), but newer tracked vehicles can turn very easily making one track a bit slower and the other that much faster.

I never knew there is a movie out there that has Bruce Campbell with a shaved head. I can tell from the plot about terrorists taking over a ski lodge that this movie is "Die Hard Knock-Off #224." 3:45- And I'm SOOOOO sure that they finish each other's sentences, too. ...Seriously, lady, you know little to NOTHING about your future fiance. 5:39- Wha, wha, whaaaaa. 10:57- This reminds me of the swearing in Prom Night 3, except the censoring in this film wasn't dubbed in. 12:36- Stacy Keach should have given the terrorists the "You drink, you get laid, and you die" speech. 14:50- What a perfect end for perfect morons trying to save the day. 17:09- I think that disease Campbell's character has is making him dumber as he dies. This movie would had done a lot better if it were marketed as a action comedy, but I can see that regardless, it enjoyable stupid. Thanks, guys.

@eamonndeane5872 жыл бұрын
He'd be better than Jesse Eisenberg that's for sure.
@LibraGamesUnlimited2 жыл бұрын
@@eamonndeane587 I didn't really have an issue with him. I did have an idea how to easily replace him. Simply say his father is the 'real' Lex Luthor, that he's not actually dead, Lex Jr tried to kill him but he lives and has been in hiding recovering. He comes back, catches Lex Jr, while he's on the run, and imprisons him in a privet mental hospital where he orders him to be kept sedated and gives him massive plastic surgery. Meanwhile, he reintroduces himself to the world as having 'miraculously' survived his 'accident' he takes back Lexcorp, pledges to work with the authorities to find his fugitive son to get him the help he needs, while privelty deciding to show him how to kill a high and mighty alien, thus launching a secret war with Superman. After awhile, when the plastic surgery scars heal, we get a new actor who Lex sr. introduces as his other son he had been hiding form the press at a Swiss bording school under an assumed name, he also takes some of Lex Jr's DNA and use it to fake his death so no one is looking for him. Two, Lexs, and we can start from there. :) Maybe as a joke base the new Lex's look on the one from the comics when he faked his death maybe even change the cover story and make him Australian. They can then use whichever one they want from then on.
