Here is Vyrs Chantodo using some of the new items for 2.6.6, hope you enjoy. Two gameplay points....1. If you can build Chantodo Stacks before entering Archon the first time round it's very helpful (but as the clear shows not essential). 2. Whilst in Archon you want to use left click and not the beam on right click. Good luck in season 18 FC

Filthy brother - question - can you build Chantodo stacks while in Archon? First, I'm loving this build... I'm getting very familiar with how particular it is "coming out of the gate". I've noticed sometimes that I have 3-5 Chantodo stacks when (left over?) when I start in Archon... yet I can't find a way to stack them while in. Do you know what's giving those few stacks sometimes? You cap at 20 stacks pre-Archon, right?

This is the only build guide I have found that that even mentions the messerschmidt. I thought had discovered my own personal build secret, because I can play the archon almost straight through with it in my kanai's cube. The only drawback is that you can't use the furnace together with it, since chantodo is taking up your weapons slot. That would be epic!

I never liked Vyr's or Archon, but I'm thinking of starting this one this season to see if I can change that. I'm just so used to playing Lon Etched Symbol wizards that playing any other type is awkward and unpleasant. Hoping to change that. Cheers!

You could use the halo of karini, flavor of time(double pylon duration) and squirt. For speeds, the double duration on pylons would probably be more useful than Unity.

Like that idea Brian. You may have to drop the difficulty a couple of rifts to make sure Squirts doesn't drop off without a Pylon, but certainly worth a test. Thanks

Doesn't make sense to run with unity, 100 stacks give more reduction than it in the first place, if you are still dying on t16 then you need to run with ashengarrs

One thing I did leave out - whilst in Archon, don't use the beam (right click), you want to be up close and personal and left click the enemies to death!! ??? WHY? Because of Audacity?

The beam doesn't scale very well with attack speed but the pound does not have that problem. So use the beam while moving if you to agro mobs but when you stop to do dmg you want to use the pound. Also yes because of audacity and the pound being a 360 degree attack.

I am watching this, and I hear you mention using Slow Time, but its nowhere on your action buttons..does it auto-proc from a rune or something? Bit confused on that..

Jason VanDerveer it’s a rune on Archon. So when you activate it in archon mode it’s like having slow time as a skill 👍🏻

I don't see where the Nemesis Bracers add speed? I am trying to speed up my Chantodo build because all I need is one more conquest to complete the season's journey, and Speed Demon looks like the most likely to complete.

You get a lot of progression from Elite monsters so they take 1-2 minutes off an average rift. Good luck with the conquests :-)

It works perfectly fine in groups. Speed 90-100s with two wizards, a necro/DH RGK and one support is really fast.

You can swap the cube to flavor of time. Makes speed farming more effective. 100 gr under 4 minutes

This build is not useful. If you use a ring of the zodiac instead, in the time it takes to stack chantodo to 20 you will 100% reset your archon. Playing the classic build frees up a weapon slot, where you can pop a furnace or in-geom for even more speed. You really don't need unity, because you're invincible while in archon, and a Halo of Karini is more than enough to keep you alive while you build chantodo stacks. Perma In-geom is much faster as it completely removes any cd on tp so you can just spam it and move faster than a monk through the rift. So Messerschmidt is not worth it, also, Flavor of time is much more useful as well, having a 2 min pylon means you will have it almost the whole rift. You can do speed 95 in about 4 min with 800 paragon and just ancient weapons with the in-geom + zodiac build.

Agreed. It's far more reliable as well having been speeding both this morning. Messerschmidt's is great for those Mage Necro's, that's a nice boost for them. Ingeom and obsidian for this, for sure.

The reason he is using unity is because he isnt using obsidian ring and if off setting the squirts necklace 50% more damage taken. Since we arent using the obsidian ring we need to usthe schmidt in the cube for the cooldown. I tested both the obsidian ring and furnace version and this version at 600 paragon and the schmidt unity squirts version is much faster GR85 runs for me. The 100% more damage with squirts is very noticeable, and i seem to die much more often without untiy on when trying to run classic version with squirts. Without unity the 50% more damage is too much even after the first archon form. Sometimes even gets me killed when im in archon which never happens. Now my gear is really bad, not a single ancient one me my chantodos rolls are horrible etc. i cant get any good drops but the build is so strong im already running 3 minute 85’s at only 600 paragon. But maybe when i get better gear and rolls ill be able to run it without unity and schmidt in the cube with squirts, but in til then i highly recommend his version of the build, it allows you to wear squirts giving you 100% more damage versus 50% against elites you get with furnace but also be able to survive to wear squirts necklace with unity. Definitely try it out

Hey Sebastian - time will tell I think. I imagine it will be the same as last season as Squirts will be risky against the RG. If it drops off you deal no extra damage (whereas TP doesn't drop unless you move) and you take an extra 50% damage I suppose if you fished for a rift with a shield pylon at the end you could end up with a better clear The Reaver also really shines when you one shot everything, and once this stops, you are probably better with the zodiac and furnace. But as I say, a week or so into the season, we should know more

Hi, would it be an option to drop Belt, get RoRG instead of unity and use captains crimsons set for: 20% CDR, DMG Increase from CDR, dmg reduce from RCR, etc? For groups at least.

Zlovino well not as mandatory as you would think, my speed rifts/db runs i use rorg with sage set and blowing through t16’s like they are t10’s only 600 paragon. I dont use the belt at all, with the helm in the cube after your first archon form you are blowing everything up with only 15-18 chantodos stacks, its just dumb

Millen812 you have to be close to benefit from the wave of destruction and it also seems to do the most damage. In addition it also procs the freeze meaning enemies don’t get to you to do damage, keeping up squirts 😁

Love this video, but I'm struggling a bit with how to properly use this gear with my given stats. I just switched from pc to switch so I'm starting over from scratch. I've got the recommended gear with the exception of using obsidian ring instead of Halo in the cube. I need to cool down. My gear is somewhat lousy. 813K 14.7M 255K 8912 Int 5468 Vitality 582 paragon On a good map with lots of little monsters I can easily do GR65, but seriously struggle when trying anything higher regardless of the map. I also struggle with regular rifts and mat maps using the skills suggested. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Steve, the Karini is pretty important for keeping your squirts buff up The squirts extra damage is only up if you don’t take damage, ie your shields are still up, the extra damage reduction helps for that The more cooldown the fewer enemies you have to kill to have archon ready again, but Vyrs main strength is the ability to have double archon stacks after two cycles Also, make sure your Chantodo stacks are at 20 before pressing Archon Good luck 👍🏻

No wiz are necro for me this season I noticed on ptr the season 18 new buff lose it as soon as u move out of the circles so no getting the buff to last 4 secs if u move through it the buff seems to benefit a class that stands still all the time maybe hunter multi shot for the buff

Uhm in higher GR's you'll be standing in the same area for awhile, it benefits higher GR play than anything.

You should dump unity and cube squirts. Then you can use the endless walk set on top of everything. Then use COE or karini in second ring slot depending on your toughness

In non season I replaced the torrent with electrocute, Chan stacks super fast ,like 3-4 seconds and back into Archon... it's really insane.. give it a try.... timing is crucial of course and it not good for the vault...but generally it's speed and damage with over lapping stacks are insane

You dont need the defense from the Halo. Keep rose/pledge and throw squirts in cube.

@@FilthyCasual96 In addition, my bounties/rift key setup is standard vyr with Reaver and squirts in cube, warzechian armguards, and avarice/boon instead of convention. You can use galvanizing ward with it and man it's frickin awesome to run.

the only still that's on cool down is Archon. me: *looks at his skills and sees black hole* uh huh SO a few things id like to address 1 Throw away black hole its not required 2 throw away Unit Gross *alright now to explain.* You dont Need unity if you have Blood Bracers on because it makes your Glave ward/Magic weapon-Deflection (and if you have spectral blades-barrier blades) and your Passive skill Dominance All Gain at Max 100% Potency Absorption rate So if you have a shield of 700 thousands and health of only 600 thousand They aint going to touch you Even Past Gr 100 they wont be able to land a finger As for the Black hole the Vyr's Set makes Archon have every Skill so you will be doing ice even if you pick the very Last rune as well as Lighting and Arcane and Fire So use Something else rather than Blackhole now i know it gives you that 3% from X amount of Cold damage to enemies but its still a waste cause Even when you have the 1sec on kill that blackhole will be taking up recharge (which is were Obsidian Ring would come into play allowing you to get it faster if you dont reset it when its over so once again another reason for Unity to Go back to hell) and if you are still having trouble and i dont see how you can have the Familer with the rune of ancient Guardian to give you that little extra health absorption God knows it has saved me a couple of times when i wasn't paying attention Sorry if i seem a little Hard but this Build is ok to some but to others is Awful also i know this is for season 18 its now season 19 but the build is still relevant and stronger then others this comment is for those that are looking to get Much stronger
