that Manon change is a fairly significant buff to her damage while making her more meter efficient to get that damage. also, getting a PC jab or a CH 2MP allows her to link into 4HP, so this is actually quite nice buff imo.

I just see it as needless additional damage when she could be holding the drive gauge for escapes with drive reversal. Depends on the situation ofc, if she needs to kill then it would be nice for sure.

@@tyrant_uk ah i see what you mean, yeah she’s definitely going to be one of the biggest beneficiaries/users of the drive reversal buff. i guess we’ll see how everything pans out (not just for Manon, but how good resource management might be effected by balance changes in general) but saving 1 whole bar over using a DRC still feels like a nice option to have.

Drive reversals also have 18f startup instead of 20f startup now, i believe.

aside from startup frames, is there any reason in your opinion to use your own character's reversal instead of drive reversal? I feel like it's better because you probably wont be left as open as if you did for example Ken or Juri's DP

Yeah I feel like wakeup Drive Reversal will be much safer in some situations, but don't forget you can also neutral jump punish this, and maybe some wakeup OD DP's will beat that. All risk reward!

Luke is actually more buffed tbh because now when he does 4HK he can just go to 5HP and get perfect nuckle meterless getting free corner carry with no usage of resources also Marisa's 6HK to 6HK is truthfully useless as hell no one ever wanna do it with her

It isn't misleading at all and I say several times this is based on what we know so far. It's clear to see who's getting buffed and nerfed without having the full patch notes?

But you really can't know that just due to trailers. I feel at the very least, you could have just have included a small tag of (from what we know so far), or something of the like. And hey, I do think there's quite a bit of value in the idea behind this video. But the title sounds very definite, I personally clicked this video thinking "oh hey, he knows something the rest of us don't." In retrospect, it just seems a little.. Click-bait-ey, honestly. But hey, that's just my take on it. For what it's worth, I think the video itself is great.
