Points to keep in mind: 1. It is a tick sound to denote change in time and the 'zoop' effect to denote change of world 2. Notice that, even the scars (of Martha and the Trio at the beginning) change sides in different worlds, that's a nice little detail there!

@@kriegnes Because this season can be particularly confusing for some. The guys sometimes distract each other, also. When they are paying attention though, the small clues can help with the absorption of key information - like which world a scene is set in.

This season is insane. Its also the most complicated one of the series, so play close attention. You might get very confused sometimes but i promise it will all make sense in the end. Also Cannon is absolutely right about with the transition of switching between the 2 worlds, you can also see it with the reversed words.

You guys are doing so well catching onto the subtle (but very important) cues! What I find funny is that Adam knows pretty much everything, Teenage Jonas gets his info from Claudia & other travellers, which leaves Bearded Jonas the most confused of the three, having to figure everything out on his own 😭 And yeah, Teenage Jonas is around 17-18, which makes Bearded Jonas 50-something, and Adam 80+ years old!

I advise you to take notice that Martha's world is mirrored like the mirror effect that was being used in the intro since season 1. Take her house for example, in Jonas' world the stairs are the other way around just like the kitchen and everything else. Also, when it does that "suck" transition means they are changing world in each scene. So for example you are in Martha's world and then the trasition happens and next scene is in Jonas' world. Edit: I was writting this when you literally noticed it in the video xD

The beginning of the season seems very awkward and contrived, but at the very end of the series everything falls into place and ends very logically.

Yes, that was the transition from one world to the other. When the three murder Helge's dad, it happens in the world that Jonas exists. When any date appears written straighfowardly, it1s that world. When the date is inverted, it's the other world.

I love season 3 as the writers really flipped things. And not just with the story as there are so many Easter eggs hidden in each episode. Go back to the opening scene at school and see the twins at the bottom of the stairs before the cast walk up the stairs. They don’t belong there but which classic movies are they from? Clue: These famous lines are from that movie: Here’s Johnny! All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
