The problem is the perception of the projectiles' models and the hitboxes. I wouldn't have so much of a problem with the changes as long as they update the visuals. Make the size of Zen's balls or Junkrats bombs' models similar to the hitbox, same with the other projectiles like Hanzo, and Kiriko. Add some visuals to the models so they don't feel cheap and unfair. Like if I see a kunai coming I shouldn't expect to get hit by a tree trunk. There needs to be consistency with the visual models.

Good tier list IMO, but the fact that they put Brig in B and were debating putting her in C is WILD to me. Sure not many people know how to play her and survive, but I think I agree with Samito when he says Brig in her current state can NEVER be below A. Provides so much value in enabling dive heroes and countering them etc. And I personally find the “her shield is weak” argument so bad… she has an effective 500 hp with her shield. So what if it’s “only” 250 hp. She also plays great with sigma and Ball!

Doom players are being dramatic about the clunky movement not the heroes power level. The movement is why we play the character. We want it to be as crisp as it was in the beta. I would trade the punch damage buffs for that any day. The devs will turn Mercy’s techs into features and try 3 different iterations of GA for them and actually communicate their intent. They remove our techs outright and don’t provide us any communication about it. It’s kind of alarming that nobody on the QA side seems to understand this character when this has happened multiple times already. It only took me one punch cancel to notice something was wrong.

They don't "remove" his techs intentionally. Most of his techs came about unintentionally and because he has many bugs, fixing some bugs will cause his techs to disappear or add new bugs. His code is just spaghetti. I'd say redo his code from scratch but there's a good chance even if he's gonna be bug free, some of his techs will disappear because of that as well. Like all the new bugs that appeared with him is because they fixed some of his other bugs. That's why they are afraid to touch doom.

@@ashonline77 If they’re so afraid to touch Doom why did they change his mobility from the beta? People were complaining about the slow on slam, not the niche techs you could do with the slam. It’s really hard to have sympathy for them when they have the resources they do and a previous version of the character that didn’t have these issues exists. Beta Doom without slow on slam is all we want. It shouldn’t be this hard for them a year and a half later.

Life weaver worked in rank pretty easily. The pulls and petal platform are useful especially with getting dived on and diving the enemy team. The biggest issue with the new patch is with the increased health pools in combination with 20% healing debuff. Life weaver being a true healer got the worst of the patch. He can’t keep up with healing a team with a single heal ability. It charges too slow and doesn’t heal as much as it did. He will need a numbers tweak if not a rework if they don’t try to boost his stats

Hot Take: Wreckingball is probably only good because all of his counters are mid at best. He has always been misunderstood on how good he is because he isn't like any other tank in any way. If Sombra, JQ, Ana, etc... actually get in A/S tier, then ball will be considered weak even if nothing else in the patch is changed.

@@jonwicked7031 Sombra meta? I mean i guess it depends on who you listen too. Sombra only works if you only work around EMP. She has almost no 1v1 potential anymore. Flats is like the only one who has come out saying Sombra is S tier. Everyone else says about B.

I agree that sometimes that healing was too strong but as a Support player you find impossible games where you either get focused down despite Supports trying to help each other and Tanks just getting melted for not being able to block five sources of damage while having less healing applied to them. DPS should be able to burst through if they use their abilities correctly and get consistent shots and crit damage, now casual games boil down to spamming damage and exploiting aggressive Supports like Zen and Lucio just to do more damage. This DPS passive is the worst feeling for Supports since OW2 launched in my opinion, they didn't just nerf healing, they made it feel completly pointless in most circumstances when your entire team can't get enough heals to even attempt to start a teamfight.

@@BrofUJu So IMO it's Tanks need to play smarter if they DON'T have good tool at their hands to give themselves boosts or escape on time. I'm talking like Winston who can get melted fast if they aren't smart, or like Ram sometimes, things like that. You need to use your cool downs even better and be smarter. Because otherwise you WILL get melted by the insane damage that is coming out from like Zen players and stuff.

I've won the vast majority of my games up to d5 so far by completely ignroing the tank and just doing dps moira. 79% win rate so far.

I was a support main in OW1 and stopped maining support in OW2 because it became a totally different role. Support is supposed to be hard when it comes to decision making and survival. Dps was always the more straightforward role and tanks used to have to play much more carefully. I feel these changes are making all those things true again. Which is good

I think Lifeweaver would be better if he just threw down jump pads instead of a platform. Imagine he had like 2 short duration jump pads that he could use like tracer blinks. Petal platform is annoying to play against bc its just another barrier most characters cant get around without breaking it and its not that useful unless your team is very coordinated. If it was just a jump pad your whole team could use it without stepping on it at the same time. It might appeal to more players bc instead of just being an anchor healbot you could be a super mobile support similar to mercy. Would be more fun to play against bc its an actual chase instead of just hiding behind your petal barrier, would be more beneficial to an uncoordinated team, and would be more engaging to play.

I played just 1 game for life weather and can say just 1 thing. I cant heal with healbot character. My teammates die just in split second and i cant play on this character anymore. He needs no just huge buffs. He needs a f.. ing the biggest bufs in overwatch history to be just a playable character. He is throwing even in masters and diamond ranks. It's just impossible to play good in high rank or even middle. And I don't talk about gm rank. Lv should be deleted on this rank.

With playing more of this patch, i do honestly dont mind it now, for the most part. My only issue now which i think is quite a big one is tank can be even more fucking miserable and u have even less agency than before. U r entirely reliant on ur dps. If there's a dps diff ur just sol. When before i could maybe close the gap by counter swapping. Now i cant. Cuz if ur dps isnt shooting the same targets... it's still old patch for tank/support. But if u do happen to be shooting the same target as ur dps they do actually die. While i do like this cuz it promotes more teamwork, this is great for pro play... i think this is not good for ranked. Due to the nature of the randomness of it all

Im a GM lifeweaver player. He is NOT A PACIFIST, he helps tanks take the most offensive and oppressive corners overwatch has ever seen. The weakness is the community's map knowledge, and ability to adapt to a different playstyle. People dont know how and when to take the petals, often dont see them. Jake pointed out a great point, mobility oriented characters are always niche because only a coodinated team can take full advantage of it

You guys off the mark on Ramattra in ranked. It's terrible and a loser of this patch imo. I'm sure his winrate actually quite low compared to dva, jq, df or even rein. The hero basically can't threat you and you can bully him and he doesn't get much heal and he needs pocket heals. In coordinated pro play i can see him being good though but definitely not in ranked. Bottom 3 in tank roster imo. Orisa contributes way more pressure, stay alive way easier and provide help to her teammates. Ram have none of that. In fact it's the opposite on Ram that he requires hard pocketing. You basically have no offensive threat or cc on this hero. There is no coordinated rush in ranked. You lose the resource fight in neutral. His ult is also absolutely terrible and his presence is weak. The state of OW right now is complete opposite of what Ram needs to function. He is not worst because Hog and Zarya terrible. Zarya can work as a support hero though. Tank gameplay completely out of the window for her but she needs to stay back, she doesn't have mobility. Hog is basically hp refill simulator rn. Dva is also definitely S tier not A. Tank tier list rn: S: Winston, Sig, Dva A: Doom, JQ, Orisa, Ball B: Rein C: Ram, Zarya, Mauga D: Hog SUP tier list rn: S: Lucio A: Zen B: Bap, Kiri, Moira C: Ana, Mercy, Brig D: Illari, LW This is solo que ranked GM. I'm sure if Blizz share their data, it would look similar to this. Except maybe Orisa and Ball because player behaviour is a bit different with those heroes. Orisa generally doesn't have ''main'' players and used as fallback tank. Ball needs specialist and people pick him when they wanna throw. I think the biggest winner of this patch overall Winston, Dva and Lucio. Sig is/was always best. Zen is just very easy to counter so unless you have a team build around him, he is kinda irrelevant in solo que ladder. He is op when your dps cant kill him but it's also very easy to kill him with Sombra, Tracer what not. You guys put Winston in B you must be joking. Winston's primary fire basically become Ramattra's pummel now. Imagine playing Ramattra jumping around putting bubble down and punching people alongside of Tracer with dps passive in a game where peeling sucks now. You literally melt tanks now if they are hit by dps passive. Winston is the most deadly hero now and he isn't negatively affected by any change. I'm sure his winrate skyrocketed.

I see 3 problems with Brig however she should still be ok if you pick her with a plan in mind. the problems are: 1- she is a peel hero and peeling isn't great. packs may not be enough to save a teammate now. 2- her sustain relies a lot on her self heal. you hold the shield to gain some hp with sup passive and inspire. now sup passive is slower to kick in and you have dps passive reducing your healing. since she didn't get any armor, it's tough to manage her healthpool. 3- she loses resource battles. everyone have a lot of hp but she only has 3 packs. when 2 teams battle their resources, brig run out first.@@user-zk6nu7zl9u

@@user-zk6nu7zl9u DPS role is more complex. I think Tracer is best. As long as you don't one shot her, she just lives. Her lethality actually gone up with projectile size increase. DPS passive works great with her. And you can always top your hp up while repositioning thanks to heal passive. Hanzo and Widow also benefitted a lot from projectile size buff and self heal passive. And S76 is a pressure machine. S76 creates more space than tanks now lol. I don't rate Ashe highly. Her ammo limits her now. I think dps tier list in this video is good. Except Mei. She isn't as good anymore. I think biggest outliers are: Tracer and Soldier S tier, Sym and Junk trash tier.

@@musicxxa6678 interesting, my thought process for Brig is based on the idea that Zen is strong, Brig Zen isn't the highest healing comp by any means, and does depend on your team's ability to not eat constsnt damage, but she has always been a reliable pair with more vulnerable supports. Zen actually doesn't feel super vulnerable right now between the hp and kick, plus his orbs being significantly easier to hit, but I personally have felt solid value on Brig in keeping flanks off the back line, which feels helpful given how strong they, especially Tracer, are. If you land a whipshot and throw a pack on your other support together, that gives your support a significant helping hand in fighting the flank. Plus it's also nice to boop dive tanks off high ground like on Gibralter, for example. I agree though, she is comp dependant, but I feel she still shines in plenty of team comps and scenarios if played well.

But Illari WAS super strong for a bit. Mauaga is still playable and he can be strong in some situations, just the current meta really doesn't fit him all too well. Life Weaver is the only one that really hasn't found a great place IMO. Also you have to know that these are literally like week 1 thoughts. Things can for sure evolve from here Also as far as that goes.. Reaper they considered lowest of the low.. unless he was released recently?

Just add Reduce Crowd Control to tanks by 50%. Along with there long list of role passives. This way the Dps passive only affects them for 10% for 1 sec. Or just bring back 6v6, and the game will fix itself.
