Just a couple of corrections, the only non-elite Murlocs that drop fish oil before lvl 28-29 are Bluegill Oracles which are lvl 25-26, and of course presuming this video was being made before the last balancing patch that reduced the cost for the Rune down to 2g and only friendly reputation.

Once u get some defence gear, u can just tank as ret with righteous fury on. Thats what i do in raids and even without the taunt rune only a really geared warrior can pull aggro

You don't need any defense gear. Ret is already the tankiest spec by tanking 5/5 parry.

As a holy paladin, you say the priority is healing power. If that’s the case, then why are Mindthrust Bracers BIS? Wouldn’t Sage’s Bracers of Healing (+13 Healing) be better than 9 intellect?

@KK-sg5gl That would be handy, but way more in depth for each spec. I was meaning more that the talent spec and rune suggestions for prot were bad. Running cons in dungeons would be ok, but it's far from optimal or necessary if you're running AS and DS runes. If you really want to run cons, you're better off running SoM chest rune.

@@JakePkzhmm, yeah I didn’t think consecrate would be the play in raid. I went for imp righteous fury myself. Wouldn’t SOM be BIS anyway since it does holy damage and therefore scales with righteous fury? DS is physical and I’ve never been able to hold threat with that.

@KK-sg5gl I run DS and do fine on threat. I've never ran imp RF in raid, but I'm sure it would be fine since seal, judge, and AS/Exo are all holy damage.

Just a question. Your raid build chose Int over Str. But in your stat prio you but Str in 2nd and Int in 7th. Im not sure I follow

For just straight DPS purposes you want to go Str. If you have a decent amount of Str and you want more sustain then you would go Int, so that you can stay in fights for longer with mana.

This video was great. Can you explain what is meant when Aegis says "not cumulative with redoubt". My understanding is that redoubt is only for crits, where all Aegis is for all attacks. So are they simply saying that a crit wont get you a double bonus to block percent, or are they saying that anytime you have aegis, redoubt wont work meaning you shouldnt take Redoubt?

They won't stack to give you 60% block chance. If you have redoubt up, aegis won't proc and vice versa. They can proc back to back. It isn't currently worth using aegis on your chest imo. SoM or DS are better options.

Sure, but AoE farming isn't really a thing yet. We only have rank 1 cons.
