I think solely based off of weekly lockouts we're doing far into June if not early July. End of May feels too early for only doing ~10-13 raid lockouts.

I have heard cataclysm is in a very rough state at prepatch launch as of May 1, do you think that could further delay phase 4 SOD?

Yeah a lot of bugs and messy things, hate to see it, but I’d imagine no, blizzard usually is always into the future and months ahead into the future for planning and work they do, so I’d guess P4 has been where they’ve been working and planning for the most with SoD, especially when they say things like ST was barely tested at P3 launch, I like to think they are testing P4

My guild is taking a break from Phase 3. Some people still play but its 4 or 5 on each day instead of 20+ like the last few weeks :/ im just gonna pug each week and play Cata til phase 4

@@Kaghoegaming yeeah I mean it’s fun don’t get me wrong , but lvling 40-50 was faster than the earlier levels. Everyone did the content for p3 so fast. Plus leveling alts just sucks cause no one’s at the lower lvl dungeons so your forced to world quest. Idk maybe week lock outs just give me less to do so I get bored easier.

Cataclysm Arrives May 20? blizzard never release two big games same week, have never happend.. Phase4 with release like 1 month from Cata, and we are in like 20 juni around there.

@@Kaghoegaming I understand what you mean but it's about money and dropping things in the right position to pull in as much money as possible. Besides, they don't have to stress about? they can release phase4 end of june then they can get back all those thousands of players who quit. It has dropped around 200k players since January from SoD.

The first hours of P3 I knew the phase was botched. Here I was chasing a bird in Tan for my Raptor Rune. Wiped twice trying to solo it, damn adds all around. I ask my guildies for an assist. 3 dozen hunters on that night. Not a single one of them wanted the rune??????? wtf???? Then I relized they were running the blizz hamster wheel for gold and instant 50. What a fuckin disgusting bunch my guild turned out being in P3. And it was a chill guild on an RP realm suddenly sweaty as a wowcrack addict's arse. A sad showing.

If that will be the case the player base will shrink significantly. The weekly lockouts are not helping. There’s not much to do currently when most people leveled up in incursions in the first few days including alts and by now have farmed their gear etc. ST loot is again an rng-fest with many not able to get their items for a whole phase

@@alig064 if you take a step back, you’ll notice their release cadence is across all of WoW. it will be a longer phase because Cata was just released, with an embellished version of MoP in two weeks. I too have yet to be blessed by RNGesus in Sunken Temple when it comes to loot.. which is more of a reason to look forward to a longer phase. additionally, 3 day lockout causes a faster burnout than what a weekly raid log would do. the increased loot drops is a fair enough trade IMO. “nothing to do” I low key player imposed. WSG/AB exalted, Emerald exalted with epic trinkets that beat out some lvl 60 options, having 1k banked for epic mount/maybe 2k for your gathering alt? farming Gnomer mount, Blood Moon mount, collecting rare companions (sprite darter hatchling is a personal fave), selling low level dungeon carries, farming mats that will be needed for P4?? I could go on, trust. I know not everyone CARES about all that, but to say there’s nothing to do is not a great take.

There is literally too much content to enjoy guys, literally the game existed, how did you even play ERA?? They give us new methods to enjoy the existing game and added tons of NEW things to do, era was the greatest game of all time and now it even has more to do, you have to rethink why you dislike it, did yoy gather all the decks? Did you bis your char? Did you get 2 voracity? All enchants? And let me ask something else, did you find some outdoors and in dungeon farm? Did you play with friends? Did you dungeon discord? Did you speedrun brd for large brilliant shards? Did you grind wo runs in zf or brd for max loot and fun? There are literally tons of things to do, i would say im playing 3 weeks nonstop and i dont even have finished my main yet, i know you arent playing more for a fact, wow always had so many things to do, IF YOU LIKE THE GAME, MY GF sounds like that, she just doesnt like wow, fullstop. THINK would you like the game somehow? Or youre trying to frustrate others because you dont??

Righteous orbs are also available this phase as you can kill the scarlet courier in EPL.

P3 was a bomb. Blizz, as usual, eventually drops the ball given enough time. P3 can be summed as nothing more then Loops and Princess Runs. The two broken parts of P3. An embarrassment. P4.... just toss in another incursion, so what. Leveling doesn't really matter anymore. Just another disappointing wow game.

Phase 4 is where I think we truly see new zones, end game questlines, and even new raids are possible. I think they’ve been saving it for 60 and not leveling up

They should wait till late summer, like late july or early august. Just release more 50 content in late may or something. SoD have so many daddy gamers, most people playing sod have summer holiday, and it would be a massive L to release the patch we all are most hyped for when people are away from home and have IRL plans. Many people I know and myself would just quit SoD if it came in the middle of summer, because we wouldnt have time to play at release or have time to attend raid times or anything. The coolest thing about new releases is to be able to play at release with everyone else, prep for the new raid and do the raid with everyone else. I hope blizzard dont release this last patch just for people with no jobs or no life outside wow. They would loose so many players.
