Throughout the puzzle, I had the hunch that in block 1, column 1 was 389 and the cage in row 3 was 129. The progression of the puzzle kept reinforcing that hunch: as possibilities narrowed, those still remained. I turned out half-right. The cage was 129, but the 20-sum wasn't 389 but rather 569. 11:00 Block 3, 4 has to be in the 25-cage. The other two digits can't get low enough to accommodate the 56 pair.

I don't know if this will go away after the season, or if it will be moved into the release version of SudokuPad or how this will work. I suspect for now it's going to be a limited release, but it's really cool for some seasonal puzzles.

I love the festive fonts!! I just wish I could get them. I think I've figured it out, though. They're not available in the app, are they? I always solve in the app.

This was a lot of fun! Initially I thought "how the heck am I going to break into this", but then found it and the rest of the puzzle was lovely, even with a few tricky spots! Finished in 11:03 (conflict checker off), many thanks to FullDeck and Missing a Few Cards for the lovely puzzle and to BremSter for presenting it!

If you go to the beta version of SudokuPad, which you can do through the hamburger menu at the top left of any puzzle; then you should have the option to use these alternate fonts at the bottom left of the screen. I don't know how long this will be in place however.
