This is the kind of reaction the Renegades adore. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and passion for music with us. I will humbly add to the huge amount of suggestions for future reactions with a personal favourite. It’s a mash up with another artist named Sam Tompkins, performed live on the streets of Brighton. This performance of “Earned It/ Man’s World/ Falling features incredible vocals from both artists and Ren’s impressive guitar skills. With over 12 million views, this raw, live performance went a long way in launching their careers.

The sound was mixed by Ren. Ren has so much knowledge that he just meshes divergent music and ideas into one cohesive work of art that blows us all away.....mesmerized. It has less traditional singing but he does use his voice in interesting ways. The story telling in this is off the charts and we'll worth checking out. Seek the version that's around 13 mins long and has all 3 tales in order. This is one you will need to react as you go along and rewind so as not to miss anything and more about the substance and lyrics but you're mind will be blown by the end...trust me. I also wanted to add Crutch which he sings with Bibi (an old girlfriend). Here you'll see yet a different sound to Ren's voice. Enjoy!

I love watching reaction channels because when he first dropped this song, I listen to it so much I got burnt out on it and it’s the first time I’ve heard it and probably four months and reminds me just how amazing it is. I never forget how amazing he is. Yeah it’s totally a good call by you pointing out how happy is his performance? I mean he’s been through hell and back to be his age. Well to be any age but especially in your early 30s. I think he said he was around 75 or 80% healthy when he filmed this and I think he said by the end of September he might actually be done with his treatments and about 95% healthy, which is amazing concerning he’s been sick since 19. Are you going to break down the wrap bars or is he says his naughty bars? You got a love where he shouts out Nas with the awkward pause and then actually pauses. I would definitely check out your breakdown of the marriage of the two songs that would totally be cool. So as a vocal coach, would you say that this is like a vocal masterpiece the fact that he can do all of those things in one song?

Fantastic video! You made a comment about not seeing any interviews with Ren, and not knowing much about who he is as a person. I would recommend his One Million Subscriber video. It's not an interview, but it will tell you all you need to know about the type of person he is. (I love seeing reactors do this one) Anyway, love your Ren reactions and can't wait to see more! (He's dropping a new video next week and has a bunch of new videos he'll be dropping for the rest of the year)

Really enjoyed this. Looking forward to you discovering Ren with The Big Push and Sam Tompkins! As everyone keeps saying the rabbit hole is deep. Would be interested in seeing your analysis on some of his older songs like Crutch, Penitence, and Ready for You. And of course you eventually have to check out the Tales of Jenny and Screech and the Money Game trilogy.

Thanks for this. You picked 2 of his best "singing" performances of his recent materials in the Fred Again Mashup and this song. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to some of his older solo stuff, as well as The Big Push performances. Love your analysis of what he's doing.

20:00 the scat before is like the amouse bouche to clear the ears before the Police section. BTW: not many people realise he actually sings the wrong intro lyrics here: it's supposed to start "Just a castaway, an island lost at sea … ohh" but he sings "just a lonely day …" but, knowing Ren, this is probably an intentional nod to another Police track???
