It reinforces the implant abutment/crown screw into the implant. I use to have implant abutment screws loosen periodically. I read many studies of methods for stopping implant abutment screw loosening. Knock on wood, since I have been using the Nobil Grip on the implant abutment screw and tightening the screw twice to 35ncm, 15 minutes apart, according to the study in DMC.com, I have had no screw loosening in about 5 years.
