We chartered exactly the same boat, Seawind 1160 in February 2015 for a week. It was good fun! We fitted 6 adults and 5 kids. Looking at this video made in 2018, the condition is well kept! We had one engine down, a bit toilet sink issue and 35 knot wind. That was all! Happy time !

Thanks for your comments, it was the best trip I have made. Yes, it snowed in Colorado too but I just moved to Washington state not far from Canada and about 3" of snow of year.

Great video you two. Really does sell the Seawind 1160 for it's incredible simplicity, big but small and functional live aboard cruising catamaran. Curious if it had the outboards?

Gady Steve. Just got back from whitsundays and we chartered the same 1160 , Sea dragon! Myself and my now wife got married on the foredeck in funnell bay.My 1st time sailing and improved every day on the easy to sail seawind regards Brendan

I like the 1160 Lite - it has an outboard motor. The 1160 Lite with an electric outboard motor would be grand.

Your wife has actually been the one selling these boats since this posting, I've yet to see another video showing the livability of these cats even from the manufacturers' website, kinda sad actually as they recently won a cat of the year award.
