This podcast brought back memories. Sebastian is exactly as I remember him being back in 93 when him and I judged the cannabis cup together in Amsterdam. He is so down to earth and genuinely fun to be around. The funny thing was when we went out I had to buy the drinks cause he didn't have any money. The weed was all free, but he thought Steve Hagar, the editor of High Times, was providing Dutch guilder spending money. Here I am, a 22 year old backpacker, having to pay the bar tabs of a rock legend! Best week ever!

@therapist6328 The strain I best remember took second place, which was an outdoor grown Mother's Milk, submitted by Lucky Mothers coffeeshop. I voted it for #1. I've actually got my judging booklet, with all my notes, sonewhere in storage. There was only like 30 or 40 judges. Maybe one day I can give it to a marijuana history museum. Haha

I saw Skid Row with Pantera in Seattle, i had to see Pantera but my son had just been born so i had to win the tickets off KISW 99.9FM because money was tight. I did win a pair and was in the winners section and was the only person rocking my ass to Pantera and playing air guitar and drums and singing along with Phil and Vinnie noticed me so when their set was over he stood from the 🥁 drums and pointed his sticks at me as he was walking to the front of the stage saying "you, you"! so i pointed at myself and said "me?" and he said "yes!" then he took a drum head and wound up like he was throwing a frisbee and said "are you ready" and i said "Hell yeah!" (Probably not where he got the band name) and he tossed it, it was coming straight at me then a few feet from my hands it took a dive to the seats below and we both put our hand on our heads like "oh, damn!" and he shrugged his shoulders and said "sorry, i tried!" and i gave him a double thumbs up and he gave two back at me then saluted me and turned and walked off stage. I will forever cherish that couple minutes that he gave all to me and ill never forget that moment. The highlight for my wife was when Sebastian was on stage and took his dick out and shook at the audience and she was so excited so that's the moment she remembers the most....lol. it was my wife's first live concert... Pantera and skid row! Pantera scared the shit out of her so bad it was kinda funny. We divorced 2 years later and i won custody of my son and raised him alone, hes now 32 years old and a second generation pantera fan and is an incredible Chef and will open his own restaurant in a couple years which is great for me because food prices have gone crazy....lol Rock on folks! Sebastian needs to find a new attorney and take that woman that has been milking him for money for 40 years it's obvious what she's doing it is a crime

Played Skid Row all thru high-school and my band covered Mudkicker from the Slave to the Grind album. I'm live in Kitchener Ontario and had no idea that Sébastien was literally a 40min drive from me on the 401 hwy at the time. No internet back then. Also didn't know his father did the art work for the album cover. Used to wear a band tee with that cover art on the front. Awesome interview. Thanks guys 🤘😈🤘

Sebastian's a natural comedian, he could do stand up. I laughed through his whole interview.

Probably one of the top 5 rock/metal vocalists ever… He is an absolute beast and was even better in his prime in the late 80’s and early 90’s!!!

Seriously his brand new album, "child within the man", is up there . His vocals are as mean as ever with some good musicians and song writing

I seen Skid Row when they opened for Bon Jovi. And also in 1991 when they opened for Guns & Roses. I wasn't really into Bon Jovi but I took my girlfriend whom loved them. I did however, really like G&R and Skid Row. But really....my favorite bands back in the 80's was Iron Maiden and Metallica. And Judas Priest too. They still kinda are! But that's me. But Sebastian for me was always hilarious. I like the guy....he's a lot more mellow nowadays.

Sea-Bass!!! The best!!! I’ll be seeing him again at the Rainbow bash coming up in a few weeks. 🤘🏻😝🎸🔥

I got to meet him again, so funny. Security was trying to rush him through the rainbow, past the crowd. He was just behind the one security guy, hands on his shoulders, smiling while everyone’s patting him on the back and saying hey. He put on a great show. Still the best. 🤘🏻🎸🔥😝

This was a great interview I was thinking back in the days looking up 80s 90s stuff come across this interview Glad I did. My husband was a semi famous musician back in the day. He was a drummer for a few bands that had videos on MTV when MTV actually play rock videos. He knew and partied with everyone from those days. His sister was a JD in Massachusetts for years she dated Chris Cornell at one time and a couple of other guys from those day she also was a musician. Anyways being married to a rock musician was a trip, we had a lot of fun. We were married for 30 yrs so thats something that dont happen in the rock world 30yrs with the same women lol.. I have say we were crazy in love with each other till the very end. He passed away recently I miss him so much. Thats why I was watching videos of things that reminds me of our time together. We never had kids I did have one miscarriage that we planned on naming our the baby boy Sebastián. We were big fans and the name went well with our last name of Buck. So his name would have been Sebastián Buck close to Sebastian Bach but it wasnt meant to be and we never had kids. Just listening to these storys from the early days just brings back such good memories of me and my husband going out to concerts watch bands and I love watching my husband play on stage with his band. He loved playing, it just gave me such joy to see him so happy beating the hell out of those drums. He wasnt one of those drummer that didnt get noticed everyone noticed him, he was just that damn good. Well I didnt mean to write a book of my life but just want to say I enjoyed this interview. Sebastián is our favorite 80s 90s singer he has a hell of a voice...
