Amari Willams is the biggest lock to me you could have Jaxson or Koby come off the bench and Lamont but Garrison isn’t close to Amari to me he might shoot better but everything else defense passing rebounding physicality experience him and Carr are the locks unless Pope wants to play small

You guys should consider having segments of your shows reviewing every national championship year for teams in the SEC. In basketball of course!

Auburn also hasn't lost a non-con game at home since 2016/17. I think its currently the longest streak in the country(maybe)

Just looked it up, Auburn hardest non-con game ever at home was Washington in 2018 maybe it’s because they don’t play anyone at home in the non-con, only in tournaments. Unlike Alabama who played, Houston and Baylor at home in the same season. I give more weight to the harder schedule.

Garrison Williams debate is not close especially in the SEC and for Popes offense Brandon needs to back Amari up learn and be there guy his junior year, go look at Williams just passing and he moves his feet so well he knows his job to me this is the easiest pick

Alabama beat Auburn in 2022 at Auburn, Auburn beat Alabama in 2021 at Alabama. They’ve each won once at the others place since we’ve been allowed to fill up stadiums post-covid.

Max WTF Coleman is the biggest dump of an arena in all the SEC. Tennessee clearly should be in the Top 2. And Auburn plays in an 8,000 seat arena the smallest in the SEC. What a joke

Rupp will get back to normal under pope I believe, he brings that old nostalgic 90s vibe back to the fanbase which was unmatched for many years. If they make some adjustments with the student section i think rupp will get back to being Rupp once again. Under cal it became an entertainment venue for rich season ticket holders who pay to just come watch UK, they should do something about it. And as for Florida IMO i thought last year they were underrated, with the return of Walter Clayton and the addition of Alijah Martin, they will be a problem this upcoming season. The SEC is soo stacked its nuts. Definitely the best league in the country.

As a Kentucky fan I would say it’s harder to play at Tennessee and probably Mississippi state Rupp is a shooters gym with students not being as rowdy as other places a big reason is because Kentucky isn’t supposed to lose I also don’t think that will last though, I think we’re going to be more pumped up these next couple years especially next year also Kentucky destroyed Auburn last year same against Alabama but that gave was at Rupp

Rupp changed Alot over the last 10 years or so, it was once the most dominant homecourt advantage in the entire country, and I went to some games back in the 90s, and I've been to almost every other SEC venue as well and even the best home courts like Auburn, and Arkansas, and Tennessee don't measure to half of what UK once was. I think a huge reason is the way they have all the season ticket holders on the lower decks and their mainly older people. But I also went to Mark popes press conference and that was the most energy I've seen at Rupp since the 90s, and it's mainly because the arena was full of the real fans, and UK has to do something about it. Like maybe move the student section.

@@Wetrockstah2116 yes I know the Pitino days even the Tubby days you would only lose a game or 2 at the most and at the beginning of the Cal era shit sometimes they went undefeated at home all year at the same time the SEC has been weak up until the last 3-5 years even in 2018 it’s was A$M and Auburn only real competition but really you have to go by eras because the game changes every 5-10 years or so from college basketball being older to the one and done era now it’s getting older and with the portal it really changes after NBA and NCAA made the rule of kids not being able to get drafted right out of high school but yes I want the student section changed yeah other teams have better home records but I think Miss State had the best environment we played In last year I want it to be more like that but at Rupp

@@GobigOrange901 yeah win both games 22-23 season but you guys won at Rupp this season, your student section is better and for college smaller gyms are are harder to play in and players have careers highs in Rupp all the time Zeigler and Jordan James both shot the ball great at Rupp it’s just known as a gym players like to play in. If there going by home record the last 10 years sure Kentucky wins but the SEC was a weak conference for a long time I wanted to go to the ACC 10 years ago, I’m glad we didn’t and the SEC is probably the best conference in basketball if not it’s the big 12 but I think we will have 10 teams in the tournament next year if not more

@@Wetrockstah2116 yeah that’s probably a big reason but let’s be real the SEC is just way better the last 4 years and it’s about to be the best conference in college basketball I mean Florida was good but Tennessee Alabama Auburn were automatic wins. I think the student section and Rupp being almost like an NBA arena has a lot to do with it. I wish they would move everything closer to the court like Duke or IU I’ve been to Rupp a bunch of times and it’s like the student section is a non factor
