🐰This hot spring has an 840-year history. It was once submerged under a lake but was rebuilt 93 years ago as a ryokan and revived. 🐰There is actually a land route to the inn, but it’s not maintained, so the only practical way to get there is by boat. 🐰You can use the public bath if you cover your tattoos with a tattoo cover sticker. 🐰The room we stayed in used to be reserved for celebrities, but it has recently been opened to the public. I was wondering about the huge size of your room! It being intended for celebrities makes sense.

Great, serene camera works ! 4 letters of calligraphy on your wall is Ichi go ichi e meaning; this meeting is only one in your lifetime, originated by Sen no rikyu, the Great tea master. A Question, why so many hot springs only in Japan ?
@svennoren9047Ай бұрын
@@dokpark5547 Lots of volcanoes and lots of rain. Rainwater fills the aquifers and the volcanoes heat them.

This place is even more pretty in winter. The snow covers everything.
I like how you took the time and effort to show all of the baths. Thank you.

Looks like a luxurious place to stay. Sadly, being UK based, and not very well off, I probably won't ever get the chance to try anything like it in person, but so lovely to get a glimpse of what it might be like via the channel.

Hey man at 300 Euros and spare change a night (after food!) you can make something work. Stay there two nights bust around Japan using capsule hotels and sleeper bus/trains for a few other nights. Once in a lifetime trip

This was such a beautiful location I never would’ve known it had existed without your channel. I’ve always wanted to visit Japan, I love the culture, the sights, and the food. I may not get to go yet, but your videos help me experience it when I can’t go. Amazing! Thank you!

I think it's the first time that I see/hear the presence of children at a ryokan... I had wondered and got my answer! Thanks for the great videos

The crying at breakfast is why I'd prefer adult only ryokans. I'd need peace and quiet to fully enjoy the experience.
