A couple of minor hiccups, my strobe light didn't bloody work but I could hear and 'feel' that the timing didn't sound quite right, wasn't as responsive as it ought to have been, so tried retarding the ignition a bit by ear and it immediately improved.
And then the camera fell over and I didn't notice immediately, but eventually did and then changed the angle.
All in all a definite improvement over the first run, but more work needed on carb balance and tuning, the twistgrip started playing up even though i set it up really carefully the other day and synchronized the cables/slides carefully, today one of the cables was sticking/binding, and ignition timing needs further tuning, so i'll see if i can fix my strobe light or maybe buy a better one, one of those that works out the amount of advance and tells you instead of having to read advance marks off the flywheel.
