Also a fun one that I found out is that the interior lights, you can turn them on without touching it. Just put your hand close to it and it will turn off and on. Also if you put a finger on it and swipe down on the light you can dim the light.

Check out the clima settings menu. You can program certain things like the steering wheel heat to start automatically when you start the car.

The first feature u should be able to hold the lock button to roll the windows up from the key fob

Yesterday.... one hidden feature... the SEAT BACK Setting, great I love it....after watching this video.... the UP WINDOW feature is awesome as other cars I've had, had this feature however for safety reasons, some did not, saying that if you pressed the key fob for the windows to close...a hand, fingers or even a HEAD might get stuck in the path? I'd say then were is the jam feature so that that does not happen... yet a jam feature is bad, especially during a CAR-JACKING when you're trying to close the doors and windows and drive off....and the bad guy is trying to hold window open... its also a good feature so the had you lowered the windows... and then it starts to RAIN... from the safety out of the rain, you could press the FOB again and the windows would close... but Safety over ruled that connivence feature...... either way, this was to say... THANKS, I have my seat set to go back when leaving the CAR and easier to sit in while getting in.... YEAH Great 1.

Press and hold on the lock button on the key to close the windows too.

Does that cold start damage somehow the motor ?

@@Avvodok that's a really good question. I'm not a mechanic, so I can't say for sure, but I don't believe so because it doesn't start to high in terms of revs, but I wouldn't do it every time I start the car.

for whipers if you turn off car and press down on whiper controls itll also go to service position so you dont have to go through all that

@@artunakkoyun876 that's a really good question, I'm not sure, but would imagine that it would work for the GTI because the software is probably the same. I'm curious to know though. If you have a chance to try it, please let me know

@@Willyy013 haha Yeh it really is crazy that I don't get to drive all that much. I work from home and have a 7 seater for the family, so it doesn't give me that much time to drive it. But this year I will put some more kilometers on it with driving around make my KZbin videos.

My 1998 Lexus GS400 did the window drop with the keyfob back in 1998-definitely not a new feature.

Most cars over the years didnt even have the auto down feature from the key fob, so I think it's so pretty cool that the mk8 golf r has it.
