Isolated DNA is usually suspended in a clearish liquid, like seen in the vial Fury has at the end. Having said that, DNA from multiple sources is always stored in multiple vials, or gets sequenced and stored digitally. Having Fury pull a usb stick from a tombstone would be more accurate, but way less dramatic.

Once you centrifuge blood to separate out the serum or plasma, it's fairly clear-ish. It'll have a bit of a yellow tint, unless it's very lipemic, so that would explain it not being red. The fact that it's just a single vial, rather than a set of them for all of the avengers is the part that confuses me

Gravik’s faction of skrulls didn’t have their plan to destroy humanity until after the blip, so they’d have no reason to replace anyone before that point. I think by the show’s logic, anyone who is replaced by a skrull and is on Gravik’s team was replaced after the blip
