One of the most interesting raptors in the world behaviourally. Social nesting, specialist hunter of other migrants with an unusual nesting cycle that ties into it, cooperative hunting, live imprisonment of captured prey(!), polymorphic, and a long-distance migrant itself.

Great documentary...but falcons can't explain to us wich navigation system they use......it will always be a guess to us, humans!

This is the best documentary I've seen of any animal. The systems used by the falcon in making this long journey is very instructive. That a young bird can travel so far alone for the first time is incredible. I hope the scientists who did this will do another soon. How about the Arctic tern? Great job, guys.😊
